No, one of my own programs.
So theoretically I could try and work with any format.

Off Topic / Need help exporting animated models.

So I have blender, and I'm importing various models. Some are .dts using the dts importer add-on for blender, others are things I've made or gotten elsewhere. They all seem to display fine in blender. The problem is I can't seem to find anyway to export them that doesn't have some sort of issue. My original model format was wavefront object, which isn't animated. So after looking around, I switched to Collada (.dae) files. The default exporter for blockland exports the model fine, but if it's animated then it will export all the nodes at the same location, making the model look like a jumbled mess. So I got the "better Collada exporter" add-on, which actually can export animations. Except it doesn't export materials or textures, and it tries to export all animations as one big animation. So all animations effect all nodes on every frame. It also rounds out every animation to 250 frames, even if the actual animation was only 10 frames long. So with this exporter there's no ability to play multiple animations simultaneously. I've considered using software other than blender, but it all costs a lot of money, and might not even work for my needs.

So, what software/model format should I use if I want models with multiple separate animations and materials?

lets make a separate thread to discuss game project conflicts/resolutions/collaborations
We all know no one will read it. So that defeats the purpose.
i would imagine it's because ghost's looks like blockland 2 while yours looks like blockland 1/2

i'm not trying to insult you because it's cool that you are making a sandbox game but it definitely lacks any visual appeal which is what i again imagine is what draws everybody's attention
I mean I'm focusing on substance first, and visuals after.
What it looks like depends on what models people make for me, moreso than anything I actually do.

difference here is that ghost actually has something to show, whereas you just barged in with an image of a red brick and said "you can't have MY name because I was thinking of this project for 3 years".
To be fair he really doesn't. He's just showed us bricks rendered in Unity, player models others made for him, and maps he made for Blockland.

I don't mean to rip on Ghost. I have nothing against him, but it is frustrating to be working on a game others can actually test and play and mod for and have it be ignored whereas a game that looks like it'll take a year to even be testable gets all the attention.

Exporting animated models is incredibly difficult. All the exporter scripts/add-ons for blender seem to be out of date and half of the model formats blender supports aren't even animated. Bloody hell.

I have gotten player animations to work, and even the ability to hide/unhide nodes by name, allowing players to customize their appearance. Still I need a better exporter. My current one force all animations to have exactly 250 frames and effect every single node, essentially meaning that playing two animations at once is impossible.

Hugh Hefner didn't die for this
At least Hugh didn't have to see this.

Maybe asking women out shouldn't be a fireable offense.
Try focusing on the directors loving kids instead.

Hey there mates. Busy week with college but I got a new video up.

Actually, that's pretty cool.

Can't imagine the business would have survived after espousing a stuffload of controversial political views on a public platform. Not only that, but what the hell is 'Cup it Up'? What does a 'Cup it Up' even sell? Cups?
Is wanting to deport all illegals really a "controversial" opinion now?
If so, how depressing.

Threats of arson and lying in reviews because of your political slant are irredeemable, but both are in reaction to the post. It's not like this reaction came from the left field, or is the first case of this ever happening.

I don't have sympathy for people who poke a bees nest expecting a negative response and then double down on victimhood when the reaction went too hard for them. Everyone loving knows the political climate in north america right now is extremely volatile, the hell did they expect to happen?
I mean I can't exactly say them doing it was a smart move, but it's probably worth noting plenty of companies have vaguely liberal positions and conservatives don't do this stuff to them on nearly the same scale.
