Off Topic / anyone got good screen tablet recommendations?

i'm in the market for a tasty new screen tablet and i was wondering if any of you gamers had any good tips for me. i'm running a budget of around $700 but i would prefer to keep it below that if poss.

some things i want to avoid:
VGA input for a variety of reasons, most importantly the fact that i only have displayport IO available
having hotkeys on the left/on the back
not having hotkeys at all (unless you have a good recommendation for an external hotkey solution which would be sick)
no replacement nibs/pens available

some things that make my weiner hard:

 i like this one and rn it's my current fav. my concerns are that the hotkey wand apparently doesn't work great (disconnects and then you have to restart your computer for your tablet to work), and the drivers can be a bit unstable. the hotkey wand issue can be fixed with an external hotkey thing like i said before, and the drivers may not be an issue for me or they may be fixed, who knows.

  current second choice. its resolution is only 1366 x 768, and if i can get something just as good at a better resolution and a similar price, i'm sold.

MP 22-inch
  i really liked this one until a few things. one: no replacement pens/nibs apparently? this is very bad for obvious reasons. two: the hotkeys are on the back. on the left side. and not reassignable. fixed with an external hotkey thing obvs but man o man not having replacement nibs at the very least is a spooky deal.

imo this is looking very promising. review copies have been going out on top of a ton of developer-released gameplay and information, and the gameplay is looking good so far. unlike previous civ games, this one seems to actually be worth buying before any expansions, and that's exciting news. i for one am looking forward to enjoying this Game. civ 5 has been getting pretty old for me and i need more, the no quitters mod can only hold me over for so long.

Bruno Mars is gay is the most discussed in the media in the few years ago. Even it has happened in 2012, but some of the public still curious about what is exactly happening and to be the reason there is a rumor comes out about his gay. At that time he became the massive social networking rumor. The public, especially his fans are shocked. He just came out with his bad rumor which is spread massively. This time is not about his music career, but his bad rumor. The rumor is out of standardize of hoax, according the last reported this singer revealed himself as homoloveual. Do you still believe or not, this rumor is really much talked by people even in a person of his fans.



This rumor comes out to the public and to be sub news topic in the Chicago radio station. According to a CNN report, he makes the confession that he is a gay. Believe or not, but at this time he said that confession, it was Sunday, 1st April which is called as April mob or April fool’s day. At that moment he also talked well that he did not make a joke. He just said that “The timing is bad, I had not realized that it was April mob, but it has been pointed out, of myself, I do not want to go too public with this”, as mentioned in CNN report he just said. The word of two public makes some people curios in the studio, he was incredibly sad and ashamed of his confession. He is a talented singer and musician, but everything can be ruined rapidly with the rumor that Bruno Mars is gay.

The public is already smashed with the rumor which is hung on their mind. The rumor became the trending topic on Twitter at that time. Especially women fans, they are really disappointed of his confession of joy. However, everything goes well, as normal as the first time because he came back with his new confession that the rumor was a lie. In fact, Bruno Mars is success to tricked lots of people and made him as the trending topic for world wide. Bruno Mars is gay is just a hoax.

Information

Steven Universe is a cartoon on Cartoon Network created by Rebecca Sugar, former storyboard artist for Adventure Time and Hotel Transylvania. It began airing starting November 4, 2013 with its first two episodes, Gem Glow and Laser Light Cannon. The show is currently in its second season, and has been renewed for a third. Each season contains fifty-two eleven-minute episodes in total.

The Rundown

The show centres around a group of magical warriors known as the Crystal Gems, who have sworn to protect the Earth from evil and corrupted creatures that threaten the safety of life on the planet. The Crystal Gems present throughout the show are Garnet, Amethyst, Pearl, and Steven Quartz Universe, a half-human, half-gem hybrid and son of the former leader of the Crystal Gems, Rose Quartz. Steven is the protagonist of the series, and the show focuses on his perspective.

Vague Summary of Seasons One and Two

Season one focuses on Steven's efforts to learn the extent of his Gem powers and become an equal to the other Crystal Gems. Throughout this season, we see Steven grow as a member of the group, testing his powers and finding his purpose. Steven works to prove himself as an equal to the others and to learn how to control his abilities reliably.

In season two, we begin to instead explore the stories and personalities of the other Crystal Gems and learn more about what Gems really are and where they come from. Season two's overarching conflicts concern larger forces against the Crystal Gems and Earth as a whole rather than Steven's own struggles.

Characters
There are a lot of characters in Steven Universe, and some of the major players don't appear until later on in the show. To avoid spoilers and keep things concise, we'll focus only on the Crystal Gems here as they appear in season one.

Amethyst is rough, rude, and dirty, and tends to be somewhat less mature than the other Gems. She loves to eat, even if she doesn't need to, and likes to transform into various creatures and shapes. Her Gem weapon is a whip studded with sharp crystals, and her gem is located on her chest.		Garnet is the de facto leader of the Crystal Gems. Calm-minded and stable, she is able to keep cool under pressure. She's also very powerful, using her powerful gauntlets to punch her way through enemies (and whatever else is in the way). Her gems are located on her hands, and she always wears a visor over her eyes.		Pearl is an absolute perfectionist, and obsesses over order. She is also fairly intelligent, and prides herself in her ability to think through situations and find a solution. As a skilled fighter, Pearl uses her spear to strike her enemies. Her gem is located on her forehead.		Steven is the main protagonist of the show, and the youngest member of the Crystal Gems. Steven's mother, Rose Quartz, gave up her physical form to create Steven as a half-human, half-gem hybrid. Steven is extremely extroverted and prefers diplomacy over violence to solve problems. Steven can summon a shield from his gem located on his belly.

Modification Help / sphere model collision issues

i know transparency can be goofy in torque sometimes but i'd like to know if there is actually a solution that i don't know about



so two things:
1) why do some of the faces randomly become goof when the model becomes transparent and is there a solution
2) is there a way to solve the common problem of bricks and the sort being invisible through transparent DTS shapes

and a third:
the model's collision works for players (haven't tested vehicles), but not for projectiles. is there a solution to this?

the collision mesh is obv a sphere so i can't see how that could possibly be convex but maybe my understanding of the word is incorrect
is there a limit on collision mesh complexity? in which case, why would it only work for players and not for nothing?

hello i am ottosparks bringing you some EXCITING NEWS!!!
[]----[]'s mafia madness is a dearly beloved gamemode, but it's kinda hard to host and kinda hard to modify, so i'm gona try and solve BOTH and add some stuff of my own along the way!

this is not just any old MM edit! i'm completely re-coding mafia madness in a completely different way! but to you, that shouldn't matter, because the gameplay is untouched! this means it's the same pyramid, the same roles, and the same rules. to the end user, the game will play the same as the original MM, but server hosts and modders will have a bit of an easier time getting around the gamemode. this means a better structure, a better backbone, and a base that's expandable, meaning more freedom for people to make awesome servers based on an awesome gamemode.

in addition, i hope to add some neat things such as an (optional) MM client mod that replaces the HUD with something a bit more appropriate and specific. i also hope to add tools in order to make administration a bit easier, since this is a gamemode that relies so heavily on its players conforming to the rules and expectations during play.

but this isn't an easy task! it needs to be tested, it needs to be built, and of course, it needs to be played! as of right now, the game is playable and functional, but not quite complete. there are some things missing, and they'll have to be added in as the project moves forward.

i'd like to hear from modders who might be interested in expanding MM to see what kind of things i should account for.
