tony the lawsuit is about the incredibly awful and stressful hours/overtime game developers make without compensation. telltale developers were up until 3am working the day before everyone got fired

actually it's specifically about not giving the employees 60 days notice before being fired, which they're obliged to do when firing that many people. maybe there's another lawsuit about that tho, or if there isn't, maybe there will be one

this sucks. stranger things was going to be their first game without their old engine, which they were finally ditching. i was looking forward to seeing how much better their games could be without that 14 year old engine holding them back.

yeah, the total playerbase of ds1 has declined by around 1k. maybe that's cus DSR made it so much more expensive to get into the game?

worth noting that prior to DSR's announcement, DS1 had an abnormally high number of players, probably because of the interest in the series drummed up by the closing of demon's souls's servers. after DSR was announced, DS1's popularity seemed mostly the same, maybe a little higher than normal at first

now if only we had stats across all platforms
