how do you purposely not have love, otto
you either want to or dont want to
it's not really about the love, it's about the intent. it's just another way that an abuser can potentially manipulate their victims. i'm talking less about love and more about abuse; the context of the line about refusing love was specifically about how it could be used as an abuse tactic, and i'm just trying to explain how that could be the case

i think there's a big difference between 'making someone feel bad' and actual emotional harm
right, it becomes abuse when you do it on purpose, to some advantage of your own. if it happens on accident or if you don't want it to happen then that's different

Making someone feel bad to prove a point is not abuse.
it definitely is. intentionally causing someone emotional harm to manipulate them is absolutely emotional abuse.

love is not a right that someone is forced to give. I can't think of any context where refusing to have love is abusive.
the one i gave? not wanting to have love is fine, but refusing just for the sake of proving a point or to make your partner feel bad for something is definitely conceivable abuse. it's obviously not always abuse to refuse to have love, that'd be a ridiculous claim. it'd go hand in hand with things like insulting your partner's appearance; it's definitely something that an abuser can weaponize against someone they're intimate with.

i suppose rather than "context" i should've said "intent"

specifically refusing to have love as a punishment to prove a point and make your partner feel bad would be emotionally abusive

Somewhere there is a video full of similar situations to this.
real life funny moments

The slight majority dominating isn't optimal, but neither is a domination by the slight minority. If the vote counts are to be believed, a bit less than half of all voters voted for Annoying Orange. Considering how only around half of the eligible population actually voted, it means Annoying Orange was elected into office by less than a quarter of the US.
though to be fair, while it isn't democratically optimal, a sample size that large would probably be a fairly decent approximation of the population's preferred candidate. that is, if Annoying Orange won the popular vote

Republicans in democrat states would actually have a point in voting if they got rid of the College
they'd also have a point if states actually gave their votes proportionately instead of the winner getting all of them. all those nearly 50/50 states would've split their votes, and even if one party only got 33% that'd still be 33% of their minimum of 3 available votes, which would guarantee at least one vote that would otherwise go to someone else
