i do not have a single peripheral that does not use type-a USB, and know of basically zero people for whom that is not the case (i know one guy in one of my classes uses a thunderbolt external hard drive which is cool because he was using it to transfer a massive sound library onto computers that needed it). deciding that the future is in superior forms of USB is fine, but you are doing your customers no favors by forcing them to use external adapters to use their standard type-a devices, which is currently the majority of them.

the idea that macs are somehow more resilient against viruses is just flat-out wrong, but it's certainly possible that simply more viruses exist to attack windows because of its widespread popularity, especially in places like workplaces and office settings where a virus could be particularly destructive and have great potential to spread.

a focus on user permissions and security can certainly help an OS, but nothing will stop a user that is completely convinced that they need to run a file they shouldn't.

I can definitely see the improvement over the base game but it's still worse than having a good PC with a few of the top visual mods on the normal edition. Characters still seem to look bad even at max settings.
yeah tbh i'm not noticing too much a difference from how skyrim looked before with nice visual mods, maybe i'll notice more in dungeons and stuff

vine was literally just a watered down mobilecigarette YouTube with a 6 second limit
limitations breed creativity, the vine format definitely took its own unique form

i'm a bit confused about what's being said here. the article says that a voter got a ballot and apparently an amendment vote was missing on it and she complained, now people in that area are going to get new ballots to vote again since it was probably a ballot printing error, and since there are more democratic ballots (2012 election results in broward were overwhelmingly democratic, even the articles given say that this is the most left-leaning county, so you would expect there to be more democratic voters; party demographics may or may not also play into the likeliness of a democratic voter voting early vs a republican voter), apparently that means there's voter fraud? this ballot incident also seemed to only happen in one city, not across the entire county.

i feel like i'm missing something

>Hillary wants a no-fly zone over Syria, which will require going to war with Russia
literally the only reason a no-fly zone would cause war is if the US went out of its way to enforce a no-fly zone despite it already being discussed internationally and shot down because russia (as well as i think china and probably others) had strong objections. this is not happening, a no-fly zone will only occur if russia and other world leaders agree that there needs to be one. the US, UK, and other powers that already support a no-fly zone are not going to enforce a no-fly zone if there is not an agreement that calls for one.

>Philippines left the US for China and said "President Obama can go to hell" while Hillary supported Obama's foreign policy
rodrigo duterte is actually pretty weird and crazy and the fact that he doesn't like the US isn't necessarily compelling evidence against our foreign policy.

>Annoying Orange said it would be great if we could get along with Russia and that he loves China
Annoying Orange also has fairly aggressive protectionist stances and promises economic policies that would almost certainly displease our current trade partners. also saying "it'd be great if we could get along with people" isn't an incredibly revolutionary standpoint, it's pretty much the ideal foreign policy situation

i've worked with fl studio a fair bit, and i've had the opportunity to work with protools recently as well. flstudio definitely seems a lot more intuitive and straightforward at a superficial level. protools has some layers of complexity that i'm sure allow it to be a much deeper program on more advanced levels, but it seems to me like flstudio is sufficient for at least the level of work that i would do. i'm definitely not experienced at all with either, but that's my impression

also flstudio would be cheaper probably so that's a plus

there's at least seven

the general consensus around the world is gender = love and I'm fairly certain that those who disagree are a miniscule minority.

it being a social construct, doesn't that make it completely synonymous to "love" if that is the way that the mass majority defines it? need clarification if I'm thinking in the right direction here
the whole "gender is a social construct" thing comes from sociology where "gender" refers to the cultural symbols and characteristics associated with one's love. the existence of tertiary or other genders would be because someone fits into neither polar end; thus the idea comes about that, in this context, "gender" would refer more so to one's personal experience of masculinity, femininity, or something that doesn't quite fit either, in the context of a particular culture, rather than just being a static definition. simply put, in sociological terms, it's not useful to just say that there are males and females, because people are more complex than this, and trying to understand what impact these biological aspects of our species have on our societies requires us to understand gender as an identity in society, not only as a biological quality. (anyone that's actually a sociology major/minor or smth would probably have a lot to correct me on here)

trans issues are a slightly different, tangential topic though

mcjob is hostile, but is usually not flaming, he has legitamate reasons for saying what he does
if the content of your post is exclusively to tell someone that they're a moron baby, it's probably flaming
