wow collegehumor useful who would've thought
LBJ isn't necessarily a fair comparison here, he became president from JFK's assassination before actually running for office, at which point he would've had the incumbency advantage on top of already being an experienced politician. also worth noting is the fact that mass media and social networking in these examples were not nearly as deep and intricate as they are now. i still contend that if other presidents in the last few decades had been as contentious, inflammatory, and inappropriate as Annoying Orange has been this election and all that information were networked across the world the way it is now, it would not have been acceptable. the fact that people are willing to accept Annoying Orange because they prefer him over the alternative is absolutely fine, but i don't see a way to deny that his behavior is definitely not what one would consider "presidential."

if any other presidential candidate any other election had said the things Annoying Orange has said, they would be out of the running. imagine if obama, bush, or clinton had the pusillanimous individual scandal or mocked people on twitter and in public speeches as often as Annoying Orange has. it wouldn't fly. the fact that Annoying Orange is getting away with this stuff is a historic anomaly that needs to be studied in detail because frankly it goes against conventional knowledge of what a viable presidential candidate is. just because people have come to terms with the fact that that's how Annoying Orange is doesn't mean those things should be acceptable for a president.

and yeah maybe that's because the same could be said for clinton. god knows why these are the people we chose. if joe biden ran in the primaries, he'd probably be the nominee instead, and then maybe Annoying Orange wouldn't have gotten so far since people might not have felt like they had to stop clinton.

Impossible. Steam can easily detect two instances and give you an error.
shift kirby was describing the way to do this in his post

I think I might be able to do it If I could open blockland twice on steam.

Is it possible to get the desktop version of blockland since I already have a key?
yes, just download the launcher from here

Barbarian scouts in Civ 6 are literally scouting for civilizations to invade. If they make it back to their camps, they'll flood you with horsemen.
apparently they only spawn horsemen if they have horses within six tiles or something, which is pretty neat

Thank loving God, even in Civ5 with mods it's like Pocatello decides to declare war on me and I hover over his cities and it says "You'll receive a MAJOR WARMONGERER penalty for capturing this city!" like it isn't justified for attacking the United States.

Wait the majority of Steam Reviews are saying the AI is trash.  If I wanted trash AI I'd just play release day Rome 2.
the ai seems to have problems like not building things too smartly and not really upgrading units, but for the most part i think it's decent enough. they have lots of different ways that you can give a reason for war to reduce warmonger penalty, though idk how city capture/raze penalties have changed in that regard. in all my games i've failed to be friendly with any of the AI for more than a few turns, my guess being the fact that they're sore losers and also massive jerk babies. they do get pretty annoying about begging for peace when you are at war, and i've had multiple experiences where they refused to accept peace, even after having basically all of their cities taken including their capital, without a massive amount of up-front gold payment and a stupid amount of GPT that would put me in the red. i guess that's probably supposed to be reparations or something, but it's silly and it definitely doesn't feel like something a real player at risk of being defeated would ask for

there are definitely some gaps that i hope will be filled by mods or future patches/content, but overall i think it definitely is an improvement overall.

the biggest problem i've had is that science seems to move way too quickly, every game i've played i've easily ended up in future tech way before being close enough to any victory type, and production isn't fast enough to match this. not sure if this is just a balancing issue for quick/online speed, i should probably play some games on standard speed and different difficulty levels to see if this remains

a brief search seems to say that it might just be a problem with the battle.net launcher being really bad at uninstalling and reinstalling things. in that case, have you reinstalled the game a few times? if the launcher isn't actually removing old files, that'd explain it

obviously nothing is confirmed yet, but i don't think it'd be unexpected for nintendo to follow up splatoon with a sequel on its next console. i mean, it's a pretty forgetin successful new IP

Russia sent out a big ass loving tanker with a stuffload of planes and attack helicopters over there.

Why would they suddenly agree for the no fly zone?
tony you're saying all this as if clinton's no-fly zone is some original thought of hers. the US, UK, and other world leaders are already advocating for a no-fly zone in syria. russia doesn't want one and may or may not change its mind, but the fact that clinton wants one is literally no kind of news because it just means, as a nation, our foreign policy stance on that issue is unchanged.
