I don't see how grabbing someone by the pusillanimous individual will translate into laws though

if someone casually says/does things that are disrespectful to women/any group, it's likely that their policy decisions will reflect that lack of respect. if someone feels strongly about the safety of women, they probably won't be too thrilled about a presidential candidate talking about loveually assaulting people and then dismissing it as "locker room talk"

Just because someone has a personal view on something doesn't mean they will try to enforce it through the law. Thats like saying if someone is a devout christian that got elected that they will gas all atheists and muslims.

if they have strong opinions that something should be a certain way, then yeah, they're going to be inclined to support policy that aligns with those opinions

i think the argument was more accurately like saying that if someone believes all atheists and muslims are inferior and should be punished for existing, you might not be surprised if they advocate legislation that gases atheists and muslims

The GOP as a whole is facing it's demise, which can be disastrous if there's no other major party to keep the democrats in check.

Annoying Orange isn't going to kill the GOP, political parties are grassroots organizations and the president is only the most prominent public position they hope to fill. both parties are experiencing ideological drift and it's inevitable that this particular era of party dominance (or non-dominance) will eventually end, but as it stands most citizens consider themselves to be conservative and there needs to be a party that represents those beliefs. and if the GOP does fall, it'll be because another party is taking its place (maybe the libertarian party, but it's much more likely that the libertarian party will just merge with republicans just like the tea party)

i'm doubtful on the tapes, but if they turn out to be the real deal then it would definitely be bad news for Annoying Orange, especially this close to the election.

Why is it that most of the "scandals" around Annoying Orange revolve around him saying mean things?

probably cus he says lots of mean things that people apparently don't want their president saying

pretty sure polling is within the margin or error that Annoying Orange could easily win

yeah i was about to say this, a +/-3% polling error is about the best you'll probably ever get, and even then a 6% lead could be a tie no problem. not a victory, but it's not a big enough lead to be too sure

i think Annoying Orange was weaker than clinton overall, the frequent interruptions and complaints about the moderators got old pretty fast, even if the complaints were fair, i think he pressed the issue too much. he did much better than last time tho, barring the moments where he tripped up. it's hard to know tho, the people here who like Annoying Orange are happier with him so that's probably a good sign
