there's nothing wrong with the idea of criminalizing bigoted harassment, the only problem is that, in practice, you have to somehow make a standard for this and prove that a case fits that standard. as you might guess that's actually pretty impossible; you either over-enforce it or you just accept that you can't win and call it a day. it's the same reason that it'd be hard to actually solve any wage gap nonsense caused by loveism. it's hard to prove and hard to enforce, and that's the biggest issue with things like this. it's just too impractical.

and Annoying Orange would, right?
at the very least he now seems to be taking a pro-life stance, and he's promising to nominate pro-life justices to the supreme court. other than that idk if there's much politically to say. he's been kinda shaky on women in the military i guess? i doubt he'd actually advocate for anything other than anti-abortion policy, but that's not super attractive to me personally

Do you take everything I say completely seriously?
it was an inflammatory comment, and you probably should've expected someone to shout back

there's definitely credit to the idea that media can perpetuate and exacerbate problems through the choices made on how events are reported, and what events are reported. that doesn't mean a problem is any more or less real, but it can certainly shape the public response

the reason why media doesn't offer the same coverage for similar events of the majority race is because that's irrelevant to the topic they're actually discussing, whether or not they're responding appropriately to that topic isn't so much the concern

do we know if it's just going to be a plug-and-play console kind of thing or if it'll actually play NES cartridges

i imagine the former would be more practical for them but the latter would be way cooler. i'm sure it probably has new hardware anyway so that at the very least it could output HDMI, and it has different controller ports, so it's definitely not just a rerelease

this doesn't work for the same reason that attaching a fan to a boat blowing into the sail doesn't work. they're a part of the same physical system, and so the forces within the system will cancel out

what you really need to do is attach a rope between you and the tree, have someone pick you up, and then you pick them up, then repeat. you'll keep going higher and higher if you're fast enough to counteract gravity and eventually end up in space where you can pull the earth along like a tugboat. make sure to bring a pressurized suit with enough oxygen to last you

he said he knows she's going to win, i imagine he's just going partially as a symbolic gesture of "we got so far!! nice!!" or smth

i doubt this is unprecedented, though i obviously haven't looked into it, i would think it's common for people to go even though they already have a pretty good idea of who's going to win before the convention

most MMORPGs i've played are not good, which is probably why i now dislike MMORPGs by default. i've been made too cynical. tbh i don't play that many games anymore unless i've seen enough of them to know i'll probably enjoy it

tho i never bought undertale cus i'd already seen everything it has to offer, and there are probs other games that i've had that happen to as well.

i don't think i dislike fallout 4 but i had a really hard time getting into it. maybe it was the fact that i was playing on console when i'm used to playing games like that on PC
