I wish people would just realize there is no official cult of all self-proclaimed "tribal people" coming to get them that gather around talking about their next plan to oppress non-whites. Everybody in the world is tribal. Even if they don't understand racism, they are 100% no doubt tribal. Racism is realizing the cultural differences and stereotypical associations between races of human beings. They're in the back everyone's mind when they interact with another person.
racism refers to a pretty specific kind of prejudice that is learned because people rationalize it and accept it. if you're socialized in an environment where diversity is commonplace and those around you are not tribal, you probably won't be tribal, because while the pattern-forming heuristics that fuel the first hints of racism are a product of nature, prejudice is always a matter of nurture, because it's a world view that has to be adopted and reinforced and not a simple instinct. it doesn't really have much to do with complex structures like culture, it really is as simple as the way someone looks; that's more than enough for our minds to start making distinctions that might not even exist.

it's what i always use, but i imagine more complicated state systems would be Heck and a half to deal with

What's the deal with Kalphiter anyway? Why is he so bad?
he was a problem user for pretty much the whole time he was around, and there are several incidents relating to him. one of which was blockland cloud, which iirc stole a bunch of code from RTB and was supposed to be a rival mod. in the end it was pretty much only a website that maintained a bunch of neat statistics for BL

eventually he got upset and stormed out of the community and pretty much created an anti-blockland campaign where he's tried as hard as possible to paint badspot as a villain and stop people from getting into the game. at the least this involved some religious keyboard-slamming in the steam community, and i'm pretty sure he also created the blocklandishorrible subreddit

also he just kinda sucks too. i'm sure there are loads more things that he's done but that's what i remember off the top of my head

probably has to be someone like okiver. kalph is a good choice too.

i don't remember much about fungus, i mostly only remember that he exploited events and stuff and that i used to be in servers with him p often. i do have some respect for iban for how helpful he was in coding help when he came back. don't know if he actually did anything malicious during that time, p sure he was just banned again because he was a JerkHole to badspot (again), but i might be remembering wrongly

if this were "most disliked" instead i'd probably say someone like taboo, but he didn't actually do anything wrong aside from being a big meanie on the internet

Well, what bugs me the most is that the search is painfully slow, and that's about the only thing I use the Start Menu for. Classic Shell on Win 8 was very quick, and searching in Debian is even faster (not sure why).
even with cortana, search is p fast for me. though i imagine it would highly depend on your hardware and what you're searching for. but if that was a part of your experience and it's something you use a lot then ya that'd be annoying

yes, but the start menu isn't any less stuffty
the start menu really works p much the same as pre-windows 8, it's just got the metro tiles tacked on. i usually find myself using the right-click menu anyway

Nah I think it's obvious now a lot of people just flat out hate it
ya, but i don't think most people would feel that strongly about a video game. probably not as many people as it might seem like.

also jeez that was a lot of pages back lol

« on: June 29, 2016, 03:09:16 AM »
personally I don't really like anything flavored chocolate except for chocolate itself it just seems weird to me when it's mixed with other things idk
strawberry milk is the good stuff especially when it's strong mmm
i'm the opposite, i usually only like things that are flavored chocolate. not a big fan of straight-up chocolate myself, unless it's white chocolate

I feel like people who say "English is dumb" don't appreciate the possibilities it provides within our speech and literature, more so that almost every other language.
english......the language where....."beeves" is a word........................
