Suggestions & Requests / 4x4 inverted ramp corner

Basically a replacement for this 4x4 brick:


The 4-long ramps are an add-on, but the inverted corner isn't included in the add-on itself.
I would make this myself but I don't know how to texture stuff with the bricktops, bottoms, ramp etc.

Honestly the weird grey with black dots gravel-ish stuff just looks weird, and I think the brick-top texture would fit a lot better.

Off Topic / What scooter should I get?

So despite remaking most of it in blockland, our Dutch public transport is sometimes late.

So I'm getting myself a super cool mega fast 50cc 30m/h scooter to do my daily 15 mile commute to the university. Now the problem is that I know jack stuff about scooters, all I know is that a 4 stroke engine uses a lot less fuel than a 2 stroke one, so I kinda want that. Do any of you guys know good scooters (it absolutely HAS to be 50cc or less due to Dutch law) you'd reccomend in like a 1500 dollar price range (can be second hand)?

Faces, Decals, Prints / [PRINT] LETTERS - Black letters and numbers

Basically just the default letters and numbers, but completely black. The default ones are handy because they are readable on every surface, but these look nicer if put on a light surface.



Doesn't include special characters and all that crap. Will not replace default letters, or be placed when you enter the letter on the keyboard (the default black and white letter will instead).

Help / Print glare?

So I made some custom prints for a build I'm kaing, but they have this giant ass glare on them when shaders are set to snething that isn't off.

Default prints do not have this. How does this happen?

So basically just a brick that only has one part of it that's able to be FX-painted. Currently I have a brick that has just one colorable area, but when I apply glow FX it makes the entire brick glow instead of just the recolorable part.

EDIT: It seems this does work whenever the brick is in the process of changing color (via events), but only when it's changing. After it's done the glow effect gets applied to the entire brick.

Help / Squideey's palette lost?

So here I go again with this story. As much as I hate asking again, I've been playing since '09 so a lot of my regular add-ons only have dead links left. Seeing as a ton of my builds use Squideey's colorset, I'd really love to have it again and be able to load the builds up. So if anyone still has Squideey's Palette (colorset), can they please upload it?

Help / One random brick pack lost?

So after my HDD died I lost all of my add-ons (saves backed up on dropbox tho, thank god for that), and I'm trying to get back to building. However, a ton of add-ons are missing for pretty much any build of mine, the most important one being one random brick pack. I've searche everywhere, but all I can find are corrupted .zip archives that don't work and threads like these with non-corrupted ones, but dead links. If anyone still has a working version I'd really really appreciate it if you'd upload it.

Add-Ons / JakeBlade & TAG's interactive button pack

Hi there.
After a while of inactivity due to university and stuff I decided I should release these interactive bricks JakeBlade and I made back in august. JakeBlade made the models, and I did everything needed to get them in-game, to the right scale, icons etcetera. I should probably mention that our sponsor is ChrisBot6, as the models were commisioned by him. The pack's theme is a less-is-more sort of thing to make it fit Blockland's theme the best we could. In total this pack includes 3 buttons, each having a vertical and horizontal version.

A set of valves. The vertical one has a base of 1x2 bricks and the horizontal one a 2x2 brick one. The red part is recolorable.








A set of light switches. Comes in convenient 1x1 brick base verical edition, and if you for some reason need a flat light switch there's also a 1x1 brick base flat one. Again, the red part can be recolored.








A set of generic square buttons. Both the vertical and horizontal one have a 1x1 brick base, and as per usual the red part can be recolored.






NOTE: These bricks work with the default door system. They do not use JVS content whatsoever. If you are having issues with these bricks, disable JVS and try again.

This brick pack comes with custom icons that are indistinguishable from the default icons. The bricks can be found under the subcategory 'Switches' in the 'Special' tab in the brick selector.

Basically a program that generates an ADD_ON_LIST.cs (that you would normally put inside BLOCKLAND/config/server) from a .bls, with all of the required add-ons of that .bls enabled.

Yeah, so this issue is probably not all that complex but it's insanely difficult to word it so I can't google it.
Basically, I've got this several times inside of a .blb:

UV COORDS:
0.6 0.2
0.3 0.1
0.5 0.7
0.4 0.5

Now this varies about in the blb, one time it's this, another it's something like

Code: [Select]
UV COORDS:
0.3 0
0 0
0.001 0.1
0.5 0.2

And I want to replace ALL of those with the exact following:

UV COORDS:
0.5 0.5
0.5 0.5
0.5 0.5
0.5 0.5

So no matter what is on the 4 lines below 'UV COORDS:', I need it to become just 0.5's.
Is there any way to do this with any text editor? I'm currently using Notepad++. I'd do it manually but most .blb's I have are over 500 lines and some even over 5000, and I need to change 18 blbs in total.

Some really basic prints to indicate where players should go in case of a fire/badmin/mininuke.


Works on 1x1 print bricks. All signs are composed of a left side and a right side. Best used on bricks with glowFX.

Basically a command that clears every brick that is all of the following: unrendered, unraycasted and uncollided; hammerable (does not support other bricks); unnamed; has no events; has no emitter.
So after you finish a build and the invisible supports you put there as a temporary fix are now obsolete due to other parts of the build supporting those bricks, you could easily remove all of these.
