I dunno.  That card sucks at OpenGL I guess (BF2142 uses DirectX). 

Google says that the Catalyst 7.3 drivers are supposed to support the xpress1100 even if it isn't listed on the site.  So you can give this a try http://ati.amd.com/support/drivers/xp/radeonx-xp.html

Hey this is a first.  The master server is web based, and the "Authentication FAILED: IP address unknown" error is shown when it can't determine your IP address through either REMOTE_ADDR or HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR header variables.  It's possible that these are blocked somehow by your firewall or ISP, or that there is some value for them that I did not account for. 

I will send you a Private Message with a link that will help me track down the problem.

Are you just running the default dedicated.bat or did you change it? 

If you installed that unofficial mission editor (I believe it was packer's), it overwrites main.cs and breaks dedicated servers.

What is the problem exactly?  I don't really follow you.  Does the game get choppy or does it just take a long time to use a weapon/?rick

Is this single player or multiplayer?  If multiplayer, what is your ping to the server?

It's a bug.  Metrics(fps); does the same thing.  I haven't really looked into it since it's not a high priority.

That's where color-coded Minigames come in....(everyone 1 color of player if free-for-all, team color for teams minigame, color can only be used once throughout the whole server.)
You would have to disable avatar customization for that to work and that would be terrible.

It would be nice to be able to have a minigame where sniping is a challenge.
Try fixing the sniper rifle so that it isn't a machine gun.

Sniping was quite balanced in tribes, despite always having a red arrow over your head and a big red line pointing back to your location every time you fired.  Being shot by people you can't see is not fun.  And you people disabling the names on the server arent thinking about all of the consequences of doing that.

Badspot, I thought people in the minigame you are in would be highlighted in Player List. Not sure if they said to hide that, too....but you said that:
...you wont be able to tell who is in your minigame and who isn't...

Yeah but if you hide the names, you wont be able to identify each player's avatar in the actual game world.  And if there are two minigames running that have hidden player names, everyone will look the same and it will be impossible to tell who is in your minigame.
