« on: March 02, 2011, 06:53:26 PM »Yeah, that's my point. How many people going into the Software Engineering field actually know anything about programming? Have they even touched code? Do they lavish code? Do they like knowing the intricacies of a language? Can they binge on caffeine for 48 hours straight to get a project done?
I'm currently studying in how to program Windows Visual Basic, which then I'll study C++, then have a busy life making games for people and satisfying my technophilia.
My dad can program and can help me out if my curriculum can't provide some information I need so I'm pretty confident that I'll be succesful in programming, selling the games dunno.
