I never said it was easy, just that I would have tried in that situation.There's always another way. If it died while you were trying to save it, at least you'll know you did what you could.

Let's be practical and logical here. He's not a vet, and trying to save a brutally injured baby animal is really just dumb.

I'm sorry to hear that, my dog is dying slowly from kidney failure and he's only a year old. But it's nothing compared to your best friend.

My dog has cancer for the second time but she's 11

Maybe you could try to arrange for him to do something really fun before he can't anymore, like skydiving or paragliding if there's money available.
