Off Topic / Borderlands Secret Armory Broke

I somehow managed to get a quest about raiding the armory before I had the DLC, so I go in there for the final mission and low and behold, the quest I picked up activates (the super-marcus sweep one). So it blew up without letting me hit the button. Now I'm locked out, what the forget. I need someone to tell me how to break in, or if someone is on the final mission for the Secret Armory DLC, to let me join so I can complete that last part.

No, not talking COWNTER STRYKE. My family purchased a Desert Eagle (Magnum Research Co. in Israel) from a friend, and boxes of ammo. Generally this is a very stereotyped weapon, many 'badasses' claim it's not that great because it's overrated.
It's overrated for a reason. It's a MASSIVE gun, weighs quite a bit. We got jacketed hollow points with it too, and let me tell you HOT DAMN the bullets are a lot larger than you'd think.
We also got a Beretta Bobcat (25-auto). Meh.

Off Topic / Going to be upgrading my PC, need advice on parts.

I have a Pentium Dual-Core processor right now, an Nvidia 8500 GT, and 3Gb RAM. My idea is to get a Phenom-II Quad-Core. As for graphics, I'd like to know about good, high quality gaming ATI cards. Finally, I'm going to upgrade to 4Gb RAM. Is this a decent setup?

Essentially, this starfish's entire business plan and probably life philosophy is to exploit gamers and the gaming industry for every penny it's got. Kotick here is probably Satan, but I don't have proof. Yet.

In response to this big bucket of horse stuff, I am encouraging a multinational boycott of the DLC. Activision can eat stuff. They should not do this to their market, this is downright unethical and borderline pure evil.
Also, no, this is not the first and only example of their greediness, nor am I butthurt over a map pack (I don't typically buy them anyway). This is just the most recent atrocity they've tried to pull off.

Seriously. Things require particles to be effective, like ambient fog, raycast guns, or smoke. It's an extremely irritating bug and it would be fabulous if it could be patched soon.

Suggestions & Requests / Beautify the "Draw Distance" setting.

Currently, when you lower your draw distance, you get this abrupt sphere that cuts off what you see (obviously). However, like I said, it's just an abrupt skybox wall, and it just looks hideous. I'd like something done that applies a foglike effect to draw distance, like minecraft, so it doesn't look so strange.

I haven't learned a single thing. I need someone who is good at this subject matter to help me with the lessons. No, I don't want a teacher.
