No, it went from fighting, from buying stuff to make you really good at the game. And making you look cool with hats and clothes and other stuff nobody even needs what the forget
Then why are you complaining? Anything that modified the gameplay can be obtained ingame, fairly, and most of it is trivial. As for bitching about purely cosmetic items, what the forget? They're stuff nobody needs, so why whine about it?
Ex; 17$ no headshot hat.
You don't need to buy anything, you can find everything ingame, that's tailored for people who WANT to buy that stuff, not you, obviously.
0 skill to buy that kind of stuff. 0 skill to wear it and be immune to players who actually have the game and have the skill to headshot.

So? Let people enjoy the hats. They don't affect gameplay so you have no reason to argue against them.
It's an fps. Why do you have to dress up your character and trade items? What the forget is going on valve. Are you guys handicapped?
It remains an FPS, none of the core gameplay has ever been changed. Adding supplementary features does not change the game.

No, no you do not have to pay for any items, you can get them all from drop, trading, or crafting. It's just supplementary to whoever wants to pay.
