I've seen videos of people being decapitated with a hunting knife, the blood does not go flying out, and the noise was minimal because he was gagged.
In fact I think the most noise was from them trying to sever his spinal cord with it, which they did pretty badly.
And just because the gun laws in your state are strange, it doesn't mean that everyone does that.
Also double barreled shotguns are pretty common for break action shotguns, bro.
Not really, it's not that hard to reload in 3 seconds if you're experienced. There are techniques to reload quickly.Magpul's make everything easier.

« on: August 04, 2010, 12:05:38 PM »You're misinformed about the shotguns.Michigan has wonky gun laws, so in southern MI, you can only hunt with shotguns, which means rifled shotguns are far more common. They actually sell the shotguns here with two barrels in case you want to use buckshot or slugs. In other parts of the country, rifles are the primary hunting weapon.
Rifling on shotguns is rare, and slugs are actually rifled themselves to deal with the smooth barrel on the inside of them.
Also shotguns don't have a stuffLOAD of recoil, I own a mossberg 500A, and the recoil is like being lightly pushed in the arm if you're holding it right.
As for recoil, in comparison to other weapons, they have far more recoil because shotgun slugs are packed with more powder than, say, a 7.62.

I would have included that, but in videogames it's in place for gameplay design purposes. A game becomes much more difficult if you're concentrating on not wasting any ammo, especially in fast-paced FPS games like CoD. Red Orchestra, for instance, doesn't have ammo counts, instead when you reload, it tells you how heavy the mag is (so if you reload and "waste" ammo, you'll eventually come back to that magazine).

Oh oh yuki I have to ask you a question.I own two shotguns, a Mossberg 20-Gauge, and I think a Remington 12-Gauge. Both have telescopic scopes. It does help, especially with rifled shotguns. A lot of people don't know that shotguns get really good range, especially when using a rifled barrel and shotgun slugs. I'm almost dead-accurate with my shotgun.
Can you put a scope on a shotgun and if so does it help?

I got something. Ever notice how in movies someone with a gun will keep firing for a full 15 seconds at w/e pause to wait for it to come again, then shoot at it again for another 15 seconds evn though they would have ran out of ammo in real life? Example: In the movie Jaws (yes it is an old movie) Brody has a siix-shooter on hand that he finds inhe boat. When the shark comes by him, he fires off about 8 rounds at him. This is impossible without reloading the six-shooter.That's too obvious.

People at NP said the motion controls felt relatively smooth though.Blah. That doesn't really sound appealing, I just want to play the game, not run around flailing my arms.

I completed construction on my library, and am now outfitting it with books. I also completed construction on my warehouse without coal as a fuel (Lulzworthy Island was in a coal depression and a wood recession).
