What is this?
Bot-Craft is a new project i've started. It has yes a similar name to Minecraft but Bot-Craft does have some things related to Minecraft. In Bot-Craft you are the Host. When you play Bot-Craft you get to be the host of the Arena. At a first glance, the arena is blank. But it will become a warzone after you follow the steps guide. Once after following that you will be able to put bots that you have DLed from this Mega-thread onto your arena and watch them fight each other and respawn and fight each other again!
How do I set up my Bot-Craft Arena
Installation is simple. First download the default
Bot-Craft Arena at the bottom and put it into your saves folder. Next you will need some bots to fight each other; Download any default
Bot-Craft Bots also at the bottom and put them into your saves folder. After that go start your server or go to a friends server and load the Bot-Craft Arena. The invisible platform at the top is the observers platform. Next load some Bot-Craft Bots. Bot-Craft Bots are sold in a specific fashion. The bot beside the suspicious crate is a model of the Bot that you downloaded. Now in the suspicious crate is the real working bot put under confinement. Duplicate your bot in the crate onto the Bot-Craft arena and then duplicate it again or duplicate some others and then watch them fight!
Default Bot-Craft Mods
Default Bot-Craft Arena - This comes with a default arena that has no mods, a default red-checkered texture pack and no bots unless you download them at the bottom.
Bot-Craft Blockhead - This is the first ever bot made. A blockhead with 50 health points and a sword.
Bot-Craft Goblin - This is the first ever long-range bot user made. A goblin with 70 health points and a bow.
Bot-Craft creepbear - This is the first ever explosive bot user made. A creepbear with 100 health points and a rocket launcher.
How do I make mods/textures for this project?
I can't tell you how because mods and texture packs are up to you but I can give you specific information on what mods and texture packs for this project are like.
Mods
Mods for this game are very similar to Minecraft. Making mods for this game is like making arena obstacles and traps. For example, If I wanted to make a BlackHole mod for this game, I would want it like differents spaces of the arena would turn black and when bots touched them they would die. Or if I wanted to make a TurretMod for this game, it would be like turret bots would appear in random places and have a machine gun and use them to kill any bot they can spot. Mods are sort of like that in this project.
Textures
Textures for this game are totally like Minecraft. If you wanted a landscape-like texture for this game then you could color some of the arena floors green for land or blue for water or whatever. But texture packs can
also include some props in it like for an addition to my landscape-like texture pack some tree props and stuff. Texture packs are like this in this project
Market Rules
If you want to share your Bot-Craft mods or texture packs then here are the rules. You must include a
SAVE for your mods/texture packs and a
IMAGE of it. And give us a brief
DESCRIPTION about your product.
Bot-Craft Requirements
Why did I put this in deep red? Because this is the most important thing if you want to play Bot-Craft. To play Bot-Craft you must have specific Add-Ons.
