The only reason I locked YMDTW5 is to see if Fancy would actually make a YMDTW6. Apparently he didn't accept my challenge.

I'm installing Arch, and I'm stuck on the part where I have to configure my network again. I try using wifi-menu but it says I need to install Dialog but I can't since I don't have internet

Glad that I got CD's today to install some Linux Distros.

I'm loving disappointed that most of them can't even fit on the CD because they're too god damn small.

are you using that stuffty nero cd burning software

Comes with XFBurn and Brasero.

Also, I tried using Brasero, and I loving love how it added 10 more MB to the .iso file when I opened it, so It wouldn't let me burn it to my CD.

Fair enough.

Though you'll have trouble finding decent OSes that can fit on such a small disc. Perhaps there's some way to use multiple discs? If not, I'd just wait until you can get a USB that's at least 2GB in size.

Atleast Regular Ubuntu is 695 MB, which is barely close to the deadzone. I want to try Ubuntu, but the problem is, I used Wubi installer inside of the .iso file for every time I've Downloaded Ubuntu. Everyone tells me that Wubi is bad, and I know that because like 2 days later, Ubuntu stops working after I try to boot back into it. Now that I have a CD, will burning the .iso file to my CD work long-lastingly?

purple, just use a flash drive :/

I don't have one. How many times do I have to say it?
:/

Just save yourself the trouble and use Windows 7. You're obviously in it only to make your desktop look nice, which can be accomplished on Windows 7.

Not answering my question.

I'm not in it to make my Desktop look nice, WIndows 7 runs crappily on this PC, crashes here and there all of the time, so I want a Linux Distro that will actually use less resources than loving Windows.

Can I get a DL for Mint Linux under 700 MB?

My CD only contains 700 MB, and surprisingly, Mint Linux' ISO files are way over that...

EDIT: Or atleast, any Distro better than this.. under 700 MB.
