Super Mario Super Show had loads of cameo's arranging from Dracula to Popeye. Those characters were taken out of their own environment for a single episode to make an appearance in that show, but only for a single episode, AKA they were never heard from again in the world that the SMSS exists in. That is a cameo.

I see, well, that helps.

Right now I am having problems with the nav bar.

Is it referring to single-appearances in a comic strip or a character database of sorts?
Don't imply that the comic has no future just because I don't know what the hell a cameo is (and that Google doesn't particulary help).


I need ideas for taglines (What appears under the title).
I am not going to use names.
Added Bushido's taglines, but I could use more.

You could make something like /doresearch [name] [time in minutes] and the server would be notified of it, at the ending also being notified.

Cameo things and whatnot should be quite easy to make little jokes in.
The Glass one would work well.


You could have another where, say, Badspot is seen to join the server and stands there.
Lots of other "noobs" swarm around him and try to jump over him.
Meanwhile, the real Badspot is on the otherside of the server building without distraction.
He's tricked all the others with a bot!

You miss my point.
I have no idea what a cameo is.

I figured that if this was being done in a webcomic/comic-strip style, then you could have an update where another member appears in it, possibly making fun of a trait of that person.

Personally, I prefer the Comic Sans, since it seems easier to read, IMO.


Off the top of my head...

Blockhead (or w/e you're naming the Noob) visits an empty server to try and get some building practice in.
Then suddenly a player joins. It's Glass.
"Well, that's fine I suppose, I can still build with 1 person watching..."
Uh-oh, all of Glass's Alts join the server and fill it up, swarming our Blockhead.
He can't even move under all the Alt blockheads!

[2]Glass joins with text, "Glass" appears over the head of the player, using the creepy smile face.
[3]Faded Glass connected. in the background, the whole place is spammed with Glass, Blockhead has the ASCII Terror face.
Fair enough.

All right, new polls regarding comic font.
I'd like you guys to discuss ideas regarding the comic, whether it's regarding comic strips or the page design (which doesn't exist), I'd like to see your ideas.

Regarding font, I'd like to ask if the text in the comic strips you'd like to have the font Comic Sans (most commonly used for comics) or Palatino Linotype (font used in chat).

Will leave this one overnight.

You should include Cameo's from Blockland and Forum members, as Blockheads in game.
Could make use of semi-inside-jokes (just try not to be rude. :P)

But I wouldn't recommend asking who wants to be in it. That'd just make this topic into an annoying spammy contest topic with everyone posting "Put me in".
If you do choose people, you should just choose them yourself without telling them and put it in.

And yeah, as I said, multiple characters will make appearances. Why make it just out of a Noob.
Might even do strips on public servers, not sure how to into camera there, though.

Regarding who wants to be in it, it's not a problem. Mostly they'd  need to give me the images and teh script they want for the strip or eventually assist me whenever I will take screenshots for a new strip.

Domain aquired.
Got to set up WordPress, then ComicPress.
And then comes the long haste for .CSS modifications.


It doesn't particulary have a story, just the life of a "noob"/Blockhead in Blockland.
Different characters will make appearances and there can also be complete strips with no sign of the Blockhead.

If you can't use Blockhead, I would use Blockhead.
It would also be cool if I would be in it, but that's probably not going to happen lol.

As I said, I don't see why not. They are all just images, really, and you don't need to worry about text, you can just tell me what text you want and where to put in.
I most likely will have a fan art or community art section too.
And you could always come assist me in taking the pictures.
I already have a plan for the first picture.

"Arrival"
[1]Blockhead standing straight with spawn animation.
[2]He shoots a brick at the ground, the image captures the blue line too.
[3]The brick is placed, the face (z) turns at the camera.

Also how is the first line of what you said make any sense?
