I disagree with you, a troll DOES deserve a drama. If he repeats it somewhere else, best bets is to let people know. This is what drama is for.

Dramaing a troll is like giving a burglar your house while all he wants is your furniture.

Looks like a cool little short, suggestion;
With the whole continually walking but with different angles of the camera, make sure to make your blockhead continue walking in the beginning of every new scene.
Or else it looks like he was walking, and every new switch of the camera he stops, and continues walking again.

Yeah.
If you have relatively bad timing with your actor, at least crop the scene to the part where he's walking.

Are people even using screensavers anymore? I thought screensavers became obsolete with the introduction of modern monitors. I haven't used a screensaver in 5-6 years.

Same. And as I said I hate and never used screensavers.
But I would enable the power saving feature and put Proteus as a screensaver just because it's awesome like that.

One thing Proteus would be good for is a screensaver.
Imagine a screensaver like Proteus: It would also rain/be night etc. based on local data. It would be awesome.
And I am saying that being a hater of screensavers and not even using one. I would use a Proteus screensaver though.

Looks promising.
Though the effect when he dies is not nice at all, you could've actually make him get killed and it would be better.
Also, you should try a better integration of sound. At the point where he got at the tree is the only part where I heard something, and it was a really weird sound for some reason.
Also, it's a little too short for my tastes, short-action film and all, it can be resumed to a single sentence: "A guy comes and notices someone else with a weapon and then kills him while remaining stealthy". I don't even know why does that guy have a weapon in plain sight and why did he kill him then walk towards the direction he actually came from (Basically just left).
Would like to see something more, though.
