Playthroughs != Walkthroughs.

Playthroughs are better at showing what the game is like especially for someone that never touched it. With commentary they can also provide as a personal review where you get to hear another opinion.
Walkthroughs are typically done by people that actually finished the game prior, and are showing you how to do it.

You've opened a bag of stuff and wondered why there's stuff in it.

Auchan Romania (prolly other countries too) has implemented a system I like.
Basically there are still cashiers that scan your items, but you don't actually need to pay the cashier, they give you a bar code you then move to payment machines to scan and pay, then you can leave.

There's a few good things that come out of this:
  • Still promotes jobs (pink-collar) instead of taking them away
  • As far as I observed extended queues are not due to the inability of cashiers to process items timely, but by the inability of customers to actually have money on time. I spent times in queues where it took more for people to pay than for their items to get scanned; this solves that issue with no drawbacks
  • There is no concern for "security" as far as "forgetting" to scan an item goes
  • No need for costumers to actually do scanning themselves, some of which might not even understand the system and might take too long to get accustomed to self-checkout

Probably more.

It's like trying to make a discussion about a anime RPGMaker game with null players on Steam released half an eon ago receiving a patch about a fix nobody cares about.

Any person that buys into this has Stockholm syndrome as far as I am concerned.

Alternatively, you can use an auto-clicker, and just hold down one of the number keys to keep using your special attack, then all you really have to do is move the mouse around to aim

It's almost the lazy man's method, unless there's also a program that is like an auto-clicker, but for keyboard keys so you never have to press or hold down the number keys, in which case all you'd have to do is just move the mouse around to aim
AutoHotKey script:
Code: [Select]
toggle = 0
F1::
HeightCrop = 200 ; Handles freeze ability tip clicking on the bottom. Higher values might cross over with the game. Set value to 0 if you don't see the freeze ability tip underneath the game. This has been adjusted for 1080p full size window.
WinGetPos, , , W, H, A
toggle = 1
While toggle = 1
{
PixelSearch, Px, Py, 0, 400, W, H - HeightCrop, 0xDC8D27, 20, Fast
if not ErrorLevel
{
MouseMove, Px, Py, 0
SendInput {Click}12345
Random, rand, 10,30
Sleep rand
}
}
Return

F2::
toggle = 0
Return
Does not handle pressing the continue button or moving into another region, but saves moving the mouse and stuff.

Games / Re: Steam Chat Update - entire overhaul
« on: June 12, 2018, 04:12:38 PM »
UI and some of the features are nice, these are my highlights (good and bad):

I want a old style of chat, where it's User: Message, I hate the current format. You get less messages on screen because of it.
You can now do : to show up emoticons which is awesome, but why does the actual emoticon screen look so bloody tiny? (Emoticons are also cached now)
I hate the forced random games at the top. I don't want this, I want my own categorization of people.
By default now aliases you put on users become their actual usernames. You can actually disable this in settings to make it old style where aliases show up in parenthesis which is nice.
Account name no longer shown on main Steam UI so you can share screens without worrying about that anymore.
You can dock the friend list with the chat making it nicer for some.
There needs to be a way to disable that group chats at the bottom. It's kind of ridiculous to have that there when you are in none.
There should also be a way to filter who can send you attachments. As far as I am concerned someone can just add you now and spam you with gore or research.
There doesn't seem to be a way to disable displaying offline people anymore.
/me
The chat tabs in chats are too enormous.
The unread messages in friend list might be redundant.
Clicking your avatar in friends no longer takes you to your profile. This is literally the end of the world.
Changing tabs with ctrl+tab is extremely laggy and doesn't work most of the time.

Unless they change the way the skin system works, it might be possible that in this state the new friends list is not skinnable. The chats are now ran through steamwebhelper.exe, and it seems like this page https:/steamcommunity.com/chat/ is identical to the docked version, which suggests a similar UI system as Discord.

This also asks for a in-game overlay update sooner or later (preferably sooner) because the friend list in-game now looks so out of place.

There's some ridiculously obvious AI rubberbanding going on which sucks. Why must this still be a thing when it's a thing that's complained about in virtually every game it was implemented in?

The theme of the game is also kinda meh, the whole followers and public stream live craze and stuff that basically is a copy of Forza Horizon 3; Cars are still the forte, and flying and boats events feel kinda shabby. Why even allow you to tilt the boat back to get more speed. There seems to be physically no reason to tilt the boat forward to go slower, and overall this just seems like poor design.

Other than that, I also don't like how heavy the handling / vehicles feel. It feels like every racing games released lately have this thing going on while it supposedly makes them feel more realistic. I hated this in Forza Horizon 3, I hate it here. I don't have a racing wheel, I have a Xbox controller, and it feels mildly awful... but I did get used to it about 2 hours in.

Everything else however has been improved as far as I am aware.

Is the easteregg that this is some food plant?

Or that at this point you are not actually flying but are taller than the door, so you scaled up the playermodel?

For the corners, try a design like this shown here (fig. 15): http://fuyiohome.com/products/gci-clay-roof-tiles/
I fully agree and I thought about it, the issue would be that this means I'd have to almost double the brick count, as this will now require special connector bricks for the ridge, also taking into account odd & even roof widths.

Shingling intensifies.
The way to make the corner brick was kinda questionable and would have to be reworked.
It's just a proof of concept anyway.

Yes.

The community has been heavily divided into multiple platforms and the original platform basically gets no love anymore because it doesn't earn as much money. The game is literally just printing money through everything other than actual game purchases as well.

During winter you can just put a multitude of fluffy blankets over you until warm and be cozy a.f.
During summer you have to rip the skin off your flesh and still be too hot.

i found a brand new cd for windows xp at a local thrift store recently. tho it was an oem version and the code was missing
Why would the code be missing - even OEMs have a one-time-use code. It wasn't brand new then.
