So I was playing so starfox64, with the nostalgia, and the trippy level warps, and I get to Andross, kill him, then I fight his true form. HE OBLITORATED ME.

In case some of you don't know, Mother 3, the sequel (or something like a sequel since Ness and his friends don't appear in the game) to Earthbound is having a fan translation made for it. Yes, it's still alive.
Currently, they have a menu translation in the downloads section. Although, it will not translate the dialouge or some parts of the battle screens.

Yeah, i'm waiting for the full, I need to understand/enjoy the story, amirite?

Verdict: Fanboys only

Maybe genuinely playable by kids with ADD drinking shots of redbull and vodka, but for our group of 20-something year old piss heads it just gave us a headache.

He's right, since the only people defending this "sacred" game are the fanboys themselves, especially the biggest Nintendo fanboy on the forums. (ginger)

It supports mainly Nintendo, the people who made it get a fraction, if any at all.

At least they get something, it's not like they were getting any money from those games before the virtual console.

Buying a SNES cart off of ebay does not support the people who made it. As you may have noticed, you can't really BUY THESE IN STORES ANYMORE.
And widescreen monitors ftw.

But buying a SNES rom off of VC DOES, this is what tails was getting at.
