I met a former Blockland player in my old highschool. He walked by my computer while I was browsing the forum once and got really happy that the game is still active.

The flash game of the same name. The name was actually conjured on the RTB forums before its shutdown, and I had two opportunities to pick a different name on BLF. Oddly enough, I never actually used it ingame or anywhere outside the forum. I would still change it if I could, but the only scenario where that would be plausible is if this account was hacked, ironically, and Badspot disconnected my key.

While technically not a roguelike, I loving love Sunless Sea. It's essentially FTL with boats, and it's overflowing with narrative. What makes it technically not a roguelike is it has an option for manual saving, but doing so lowers the game difficulty and playing all the way to the end without them is a badge of honor. It also has a Victorian setting, and I go crazy over those.

Hey, guess who just forgot to save. Again. Two bridges is still there, but I lost the EPOR room, blue gem room, and mirror room. In a way, I guess this is good, since I wanted to redo these rooms anyway, but Jesus Christ I don't think I'm ever going to finish this without building everything at least twice.

Ledge room was redone. It felt way too wide, and now the rooms extend in opposite directions, but that can be fixed easily using teledoors.
As for the two bridges, I took a second screenshot and it came out clearer.
I also finished the rooms on the other side. To answer the question I asked earlier:
Can anyone guess which bridge is safe to cross in the game? Without googling it you cheating bastardYou actually have to cross both! The wood bridge leads to a large snake:

EPOR room complete, for the most part. I'll touch it up later.
I'll touch up this room too, or maybe just redo it entirely. We'll see.
Mirror room! I was gonna have glass to shatter, but that's a little hard to do with a door you have to open. I also stuck a teledoor into this room to connect to the coffin room. This should be the only teledoor in the entire build.

Okay, so I tried to take a screenshot of the new bridges room, but...
It didn't turn out great. Basically what I've changed is I made the room much bigger; comparable to the Shadowgate remake:
I've also made the wood bridge thicker, as the planks seemed a little too spacey, and I switched out the big empty void that 1-hit kills you with a big glowing lava plate that 1-hit kills you.

Son of a bitch I forgot to save. Again. The first two bridges room was a pain in the ass to build, so I'm just gonna redo the room before it and use Teledoors to connect the branching paths.
I also did two other rooms:
The trapdoor doesn't open. I can't bothered to make it work without tearing apart much of the ground beneath it.
This room isn't finished. More detail will come later when I connect the branching paths. I'm mostly doing these rooms by memory, so I don't actually see what they looked like in the original game until I've finished them.
Don't ask me how I'm gonna make the pool freeze. I probably won't. You only get a key in the original game anyway, and none of the castle doors in this build are locked.
