My Thanksgiving has been absolutely stuff. The day started out normal, aside from a haircut and an early shower, and I was not looking foward to it. Thanksgiving is a day when I watch everyone else eat and not be able to eat it myself. It all tastes terrible to me, so I usually just wait it out in my room. My dad had different plans. He told me to literally go out and watch people eat. As soon as I got out there, my brother and cousins made fun of me and laughed at me because I couldnt eat anything. I left because i did not want to face that stuff while I was already down. My dad came in a minute later and informed me that I had lost all of my computer time for the rest of the break, and I could earn a day back by trying to eat something. He walked off. I made it halfway down the hall before I ran back to my room and cried.
You do not know how painful it is for there to be a holiday where you watch everyone but you enjoy it, and get mocked and punished for it.
Well after a minute my brother came in and asked what was wrong. I told him, and he said he wasn't making fun of me at all. He said that the cousins laughed along because they worship them, which is true. He told me that dad said to come out, which i did. I choked down a croissant, a sliver of turkey, a bit of mashed potatoes, and a tiny chance of cranberry jelly. The cousins were all watching my brother play Minecraft in the other room, which did not help my mood, and so I dulled off and typed this.
