I have sort of listened to them for a while but I never really appreciated them until recently. They are a rock/blues garage revival band they hasn't got much attention until maybe like 2010. They are a pretty good band for this generation judging from the music that has come out lately.

Off Topic / What a long strange trip its been

I don't really want to make this look like my personal blog but I just wanted somewhere to vent. I am almost done with the 8th grade and it has seemed like it never happened. It was like on big blur. I grew up so fast and  I was looking away the entire time and missed it. I am already going to highschool and I can't believe it. I remember in elementary how I was dreading highschool because it seemed so hard to me and I was always thinking "Well I have plenty of time before I go to high school I shouldn't think of that" now it feels like it was just yesterday. Not to mention the time I wasted my life with spent on the forums

Well so I'm chatting with my girlfriend (no im not trying to rub it in your face don't say that) and she asks me if I am a mamas boy. WTF so I just tell her I'm not (knowing what the term was) and she tells me  "It sucks that I am not a mamas boy" and I ask her why and she says "nvm it is complicated"
I am still trying to figure out what she was trying to imply. Do any of you have any ideas?

Not that I am usually depressed but I had a really kick ass day today. Beach with friends, and dinner. There is also I girl I have really liked and she was with us and it happened that she likes me and we were talking for a while and we are starting to go out. For all the forum stoners, you know that really good mood feeling were you appreciate the world when you are high. It is JUST like that without the high feeling. I'm in such a good mood I just really wanted to share this

Off Topic / Meet Mike the Monkey from Costa Rica

I went to a wild life refuge today and they had a monkey named Mike. So I got to play socialize (so you friends wouldn't make furry jokes) with him. He was pretty smart. When I put my finger out it grabbed it and smelled the fruit I had that morning and starting licking my finger. My favorite animal is officially a monkey because they are pretty forgetin awesome. Discuss about monkeys n stuff

I only listen to classic rock especially vietnam era/counter culture music and sometimes a little rap. Sometimes I wish I lived back then. When I listen to the music I feel as if I can relate to it even though I never grew up in that era. It makes me feel warm on the inside.
