I made this thread so we can discuss our favorite(or least favorite) music genres and bands or artists.

Anyway, my favorite genres are rock and metal, and yes, that includes all of their sub-genres. I prefer a lot of late 70's to the early 90's rock bands. But I also listen to some newer rock bands.

I also like rap. But not that much, because I only listen to about 4-5 rap artists.

One thing I despise is pop. Pop is horrible (in my opinion).

I listen to one or two electronic groups.

I imagine people as their avatars. I'm just curious to know if anyone else does this.

If you don't know what I mean, here's an example, like, if someone has Fluttershy for an avatar, I imagine Fluttershy sitting at computer posting on the BL forums. I just think it's kinda weird, y'know? It's the same even if someone has an object as an avatar.

Does anyone else do this, or is it just me?

I've mad topics about this before but these are some more things that really pissed me off.

She has full control over me.
Now I understand she is my parent, and she has the right to control most of the things I do.

However, I will be 13 in two months. I should be able to do some things for myself and by myself.

Example: She still picks out my clothes whenever I go somewhere. I probably wouldn't mind if she didn't pick the most glittery, obnoxious, girly, eye-raping, brain melting, handicapped stuff on the planet. Like neon sparkly pink shirts with large glittery letters that say things like "Diva gal" or "Pretty princess".  Or skirts. SHE MAKES ME WEAR SKIRTS. She treats me like I'm her dress up doll or something. She also puts my hair up in pigtails and stuff. I like my hair down.

If I picked out my clothes, it would just be a pair of shorts and a plain tee.

She also goes through my history and dumb stuff.

She thinks that she knows everything, when she actually is a heavily biased moron

Like with Steam. She didn't let me use Steam for a long time because she thought it was full of viruses. I just now recently convinced her to let me use it. But she still bugs me about it.

She's a hypocritical bitch

Like, if she catches me chatting with someone, she gives me an almost hour long lecture about internet child enthusiasts.

But before you say, "but she cares about you!"

She doesn't. If she did, then she would remember to give me my medication and she wouldn't ignore me when I tell her somethings wrong. That's why my RA went undiagnosed for months and my broken leg went undiagnosed for three weeks.

She nags and yells at me about EVERYTHING

And I mean everything. Like "YOUR CANES MAKES TOO MUCH NOISE WHEN YOU WALK" or "YOUR BACK IS TOO BENT, STRAIGHTEN IT UP". (which is actually very hard to do because I have scoliosis and Arthritis.

And much much more. I love her but she's annoying and treats me like crap.

She's also one of those 'hip' moms.
Meaning that she listens to stuffty artist only because they're whats "hot" today. So not only do I have to put up with her yelling, I also have to put up with crappy songs by Justin Bieber because she blares it. Plus my little sister loves JB too. So it's all the damn time with "baby".

I am so angry right now.

It all started at a gas station where Rascal told me to deliver the cat-nip to someone only known as "Mr. Biggieblackie."  So I agreed, I arrived to warehouse where I was going to drop of the cat-nip, I parked my electric wheelchair, got my crutches out and begin to head inside. I put the cat-nip down, only to realize I was surrounded by men with guns. They were all aiming at my head. I managed to take them down and  then I stole one of the guns. I then head outside where there were 8 police cars and 3 helicopters. I hopped on my wheelchair, I put it on full speed and out-drove the cops. So now I'm wanted, I only have a gun, a laptop with WiFi and a pack of beef jerky. I will see you when I get over the border and find a place where I can plug the laptop charger in.

My desktop computer has internet, but not my laptop. I need internet on my laptop, but it got disconnected.

I was going to post about this when it actually happened, but I didn't. However, this earthquake felt in a lot of places on the east coast. It was basically nothing, though, just a 5.7 or something like that. But I actually felt it here in MD.

Anime and Manga Megathread!

Why does this thread exist you ask? Because the original anime megathread is too old. And we should have a place to share our thoughts on anime and manga.


And what is anime/manga?

Anime is the Japanese term for Animation, although, most fans refer to all animations made in Japan, as anime.

Manga is the Japanese term for comics, again, much like the term anime, fans refer to all comics published in Japan as manga.

Both are often characterized by distinctive character styles and backgrounds (hand-drawn and/or computer-generated)

Most anime can be be viewed subbed or dubbed online at various websites, one being YouTube, though most anime can be bought on DVD. Similar to Manga, you can read them online or buy them at book/comic stores if they have them.

Anime and manga can have a wide array of genres to go with the story. Some of them being, Harem, Magical girl, Mecha, Yaoi, Yuri, Etc. They can also be defined by Demographic groups. (Children, Josei, Seinen, Shōnen, Shōjo.)

Yes, I've made too many threads, but who cares. Now, here's what the problem is, I keep confusing 'then' with 'than'. Same with 'you' and 'your' or I can't barely spell (thank god for firefox's spellchecker). I also keep writing various letters and numbers backwards. And no, I wasn't diagnosed with dyslexia, so that's not it. I also keep mistyping. Sometimes I go blank in my mind, literary, one minute I'm like, doing something and then I'm like 'what the haw was I doin'". I've had plenty of sleep. So I dunno. I'm also behind on subjects, especially math. But I'm great with everything else.

I know there are smart people here, I have faith in the forums, now please tell me why I'm acting so handicapped.

Suggestions & Requests / Camping pack.

Now, what I am asking for is a fishing pole, some trail-mix food item, along with a marshmallow on a stick. It should be pretty simple to make because there are already food items.

These would be good for a camping server. So if you can, please try to make these. I already searched for camping themed items, couldn't find much. So yeah.

Off Topic / There were some serious problems going on at my house. Everything resolved! C':

So, my parents got a little boozed. (or a lot). The night started out fine. Then I had some chest pains, perfectly normal. Then I had breathing problems. And I got dizzy, and I kinda started to pass out, so I woke myself up, and asked for some help. Then after a while of my horrible excuse for a father, went insane, literally. He smashed stuff up. But, my mom was asleep so he beat her into a table. And she woke up. So my mom called her mother-in-law, after my dad threw me out of my wheelchair, basically. So my grandma came over and picked him up. My mother's face is kinda busted, and she refused to go to the hospital. But that's not all, my dad left my grandma's house, so now he'll probably go to jail. My mom's okay now, I think. My chest and my arm stopped hurting, a little.

But I'm still in shock.

But it's sort of my fault, because I wanted to go to the ER.

Okay, my dad came back this morning and my mom is okay. I woke up and had some coffee, and everything is fine now. My parents made up and they're cleaning the house up right now.


Last night I was scared. I'm still gonna see a doctor about the chest problems.

But I'm glad that it's resolved, my mom and dad told me they were sorry and that they're never going to drink alcohol again because of problems like this.

It has come to my attention that we have failed as a race, and would be better off getting wiped out like the dinosaurs. First off, here are screen shots of what people on have actually searched in Google. And maybe some YouTube comments (can't prove our species' stupidity without YT comments).



OF COURSE THE MAN CAN FIND US BECAUSE WE DIDN'T POST THIS ON 5 VIES. Plus, why was the person watching
shake it up, anyway? That person is obviously ethically challenged to think that chain mail is true.
