Am I the only one seeing a bit of resemblance here?

is it bad i laughed at this
If someone tried to abducted me, then I would punch/kick them as hard as I can right in the family jewels. But the girl in the video is only 7, so it's no surprise that she'd react very differently in the situation.

It's kind of little kids everywheres fault. stuff little kids screamed bloody murder all day every day where I used to live and you'd run out and they'd just be playing hide and seek or tag. After a while I stopped and there could've been one being raped right outside my house and I would've never seen it.

Although if I was walking by a little kid and she was screaming "you aren't my dad" I'd probably stop him.
Yeah.

so you think a little 8 year old girl could beat up a 180 pound adult to the point where she could run away
If she could punch him hard enough in the crotch, then she could get away.

That's terrible that almost no one was going to help the girl.

I wish I had a childhood like yours. And I probably could have, too. If it wasn't for, you-know-what.

Come to think of it, I did have a childhood similar to yours. Without facebook and tumblr and whatnot. But I did play video games a lot, which I'm sure everyone did, and I stayed indoors. But that's most likely because of you-know-what. (not playing video games. Staying indoors)

Of course I still had imagination.

I remember how I would play with my favorite toys. I took some of the stuff from my G. I. joes and mix them with my pony figures. 'twas the great Ponyland war of 2004.

Back on-topic: I 100% agree with you. On both the idolization and the childhood one.

Did you remember to de-chlorinate the water?
Yes. But they I don't think we had much to do with it, because they started dying before we put them in the water.
I think it'll be because of the temperature differences between your tank water and the fish's water from the pet store. If you put them straight into the water the chances are that they will die. You have to float the fish in their plastic bags with their water on the tank water so that they adjust slowly.
That's exactly what we did. They began to die before we released them into the big tank, though.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ammonia_poisoning probably then. In an older aquarium, there are bacteria that convert your fish's wastes from things that are toxic (ammonia and nitrite) to one that is much less toxic to them (nitrate). In your new tank, there wasn't enough time for the bacteria to have built up to a sufficient number, nor is there usually enough gravel for them to colonize that you get a large enough population to do a good job of this.
Our tank is pretty old, actually. But it's possible because of the way my mother cleaned the tank before we put them in.

I always hesitate to go to petco just because everything smells like stuff
especially the fish tanks
My father said that one or two of the tanks had dead fish in them. It's saddening.

You put them in water too soon.  You needed to let them adjust to the room temperature, I thought that was common knowledge.
We let them adjust for about an hour and a half.

Fish have unusually low lifespans. Wit the exception of some such as koi.
Some of them were just babies and they didn't even last a day in our home. :c

poor fishies.
:(
I know, right.

prolly cus you had 25 fish in one tank
They were quite small. And it was a large tank.

It's about this size, but a tad smaller.
