Off Topic / FIRE NEAR MY TOWN AFAFAFAFAF

There was a gigantic fire started yesterday, which is eating up austin and has not been put out yet. it is not very far from my area, it looks just a little bit past all of my neighbors fences. the sky is like pencil grey and the air is stuffty. it's still spreading and i heard a firefighter say "We are going to try and flank the fire". maybe that's why they haven't put it out. you can't flank something that doesn't give a stuff.

so yeah everything is being evacuated but we havent been yet.

I have a speech i wrote for Speech class, and i just want you guys' opinion of how to end one.

Oh and the speech is an introductory speech

and it can't just be "ok bye" it needs to be intelligent

Suggestions & Requests / ameboid brick

How about some kind of brick that merges with any ameboid bricks placed near, causing basically a big brick. it would help with those ugly walls that always have cracks, and things like rounds could be left out.

I got 20 bucks and an ipod :)
and maybe I'm taller
and i feel more energetic than before..

Oh yeah and a friend brought some little balloons that looked like carrots so we blew them up and hit each other with them :P

Suggestions & Requests / Just a thought, but startup song?

I think it'd be kind of cool to have an addon that plays a set song every time you set up blockland. there could be a file that you put the song into or something, and the next time you opened blockland it'd play that song.

Similar to tf2, but different since tf2 cycles through every startup.

I don't know, just a thought.

(This doesn't have C:// or program files, it has system, and stuff like that.)

So yeah, about three days ago my friend matthew decided he wanted to end his life... over a girl he'd made angry. she would not accept his apology, and he decided afterschool he would pop some pills.

Thing is, i wasn't even loving told until the day afterward. i had gone home, thinking he was fine and all, and the next day everybody was flipping stuff about him. EVERY ONE OF MY FRIENDS.. AND MORE KNEW HE WAS GOING TO KILL HIMSELF. Yet none called me or said anything the day it happened.

Off Topic / Yesterday i passed out from orthostatic hypo tension

Yesterday, i was seeing a movie, and about a minute or two before it ended, i started wheezing.
When the movie ended we started driving home and i was starting to fall asleep from the lack of oxygen (I could breathe, but i had less). When we got home i got out of the car quickly, stretched, and literally woke up on the ground with no memory of falling... what i keep thinking is that i WATCHED myself fall. i don't know. When i got up my parents were screaming their asses off, afraid that i might have died, until i stood up. Then they got pissed and thought i was playing around.
Jesus when i woke up i didn't feel like i had slept, but my vision blurred in and i had more energy than before.

Off Topic / My computer is becoming senile.

I swear to god it's going to just stop working one of these days.
  Earlier i did nothing different. just browsing a bit of the forums, pandora radio, and creepypasta. then my computer flips stuff and BSODs. dammit.

Also before today i had lost total power to repair my connection when it was down, then my browsers would crash, then shockwave would crash IN the browser, Blockland no longer works.

Even before that all of my steam games never worked.

I want my dad to get me a new computer but he thinks that an even relatively good one is like thousands of dollars. so now i'm stuck with this computer that is slowly dying and becoming stupid.

(example, i click a link, and my browser goes back two pages, rather than forward one)
