The doors are finished and Wedge will put them on whenever he's ready.

Things to note:
- There are 2 versions of each of the 4 doors for clockwise and counter-clockwise opening.
- The doors are 6 bricks high, as opposed to 5. Read FAQ.
- They are bricks, not .dts shapes. They open on click and close automatically after 3 seconds.*
- Because they are bricks you can FX paint them if you want to.
- There are no events attached to them. They open the same way the treasure chest does.
- You can lock them by disabling raycasting.
- Due to an engine bug, you may get stuck while opening a door while standing on it.
- Also due to a BL bug/intentional design, face culling stops working when you open a door.

FAQ

WHY?
Because Wedge doesn't want JVS doors on his server. His reasons are his own. I just made some alternatives.

Why are they 6x high?
6x high is a better scale to real world doors. LEGO uses this scale for their new doors. You can put plates in front of the door without clipping. See picture.

But I want 5x high doors! (Not a question.)
We've talked to someone who might be making 5x high LEGO ones for later.

You can open the door through bricks! (Also not a question.)
I am limited in what I can do with this technique.
I tried methods to fix this. They were needlessly complex and caused other issues. I cannot idiot-proof everything.


*I can easily change them to click-to-close if people want. Of course then you'd end up with buildings full of open doors from lazy players.

Wedge, I rebuilt what I could remember from what was on the server. I didn't make the info center, though. Someone will have to load that.

Edit: Alright, doors are fixed with the suggestions from Ephialtes.

You can add multiple collision boxes within a BLB. Take a look at the castle wall piece. It's made up of 4 individual boxes.

I guess .setDataBlock(); was never meant to be used in this way.

Anyway, I 'fixed' it by getting rid of the .dts collisions.

When the door is closed it's a solid 1x4x18 box, when it's open it's a little 1x4x1 plate so you can step onto the frame.
You can't collide with the sides or top of the frame now when they're open, sadly.

It has not crashed, but I'm not sure if I want Wedge to use this version. It feels like a really lame way to solve the problem.

JVS doors are .dts models that use brick collision. My doors are brick models with .dts collision.

Server has crashed and will be down for the night...

Wedge, you'll have to remove my doors.

Clicking a door while in a vehicle crashes everything. It must be the .dts collisions changing between the closed and open datablocks.
The treasure chest and my mailbox (and probably the safe too) keep the same collision, so they aren't affected.
I'm not even sure if this is even possible to fix... It looks like our dreams of simple doors might be over.
It is a really strange glitch and makes no sense to me why it would happen.
