General Discussion / CityRPG Business Concept

I was talking about this to Custard earlier, figured I'd share.
I think people should be more involved in CityRPGs and offer realistic RP. I was saying how, people should start "clans" in which they have a franchise, where other members can join and then build the brand of shop over all CityRPGs that appear. You could then teach those in the franchise about the service you offer, how to treat customers, the pricing values. It'd be like starting a business in game.
The idea:
- You develop a brand that is recognized over CityRPGs all over Blockland
- You compete with other franchise clans
- You setup service rules, so those who run the shops can offer a realistic and more indepth service to customers
- You agree on a build theme, to keep consistency throughout the CityRP worlds (but not clone buildings necessarily
This way, rather than just whipping up a store and cheaply selling items, you could create a real quality sense of RP within established grounds.
For example, when I was in Tapes RP, I created a shop called "IcyItems" in which I literally greeted each customer, gave advice on items, spawned items on a fancy glass case, and offered insurance. I didn't just show up to my store occasionally, I literally spent hours just hanging around the shop so when people entered they wouldn't see an empty counter like you always get in CityRPs. This kind of service could be taught and replicated within an organized CityRP business.
I myself couldn't possibly co-ordinate such a thing at the moment, as I already have enough to keep me busy. But I'd like to see people try something like this. Custard said someone had a go at a similar concept, but I think it should be taken further to a more common and competitive level.
