Silly Ephi, using a tape recorder to log my Blockland posts, which make no sound! Why not just look at my posts?

No, he likes to listen to you sleep.

Oh, there are no comics so far. Just a near empty Wordpress blog with a random theme.

Wasn't this a bit hasty? :/

It transmits the fact that you have enabled it to the RTBC server, and unless you happen to have it's sourcecode, how could you know it does nothing?

Unless it is one day going to be the gateway to some really abstract easteregg (which its not) I think its safe to say its just a checkbox, designed to trick people like the OP into posting topics like this lol.

Yeah I'll stick around the topic. I think the server has outgrown me, time to let other people in. I don't think I can offer much to this server anymore.

I'll still checkup on the server whenever you are alone editing it or if you need an administrative hand.

Vincent Foreman leaves Bluzone.

In the end nobody found out much about Vincent other than Christopher, who he shook the hand of before leaving. Vincent associated most with people who were killed. He left feeling uneasy about the camp and its people, and has no plans of where to go.

Vincent kept to himself, puffing his cigarette on the second-story balcony of the vodka bar, usually alone. He was often uneasy around Lukas of all people, though Lukas may never have fully understood-- Lukas mysteriously died, presumably a Self Delete, which Vincent never showed much emotion for.

Vincent developed a bit of a drinking problem as things got tougher in the base, and even got violent. Otherwise he was always a calm and quiet figure at the base.

Only one instance of odd behavior was ever witnessed from this ex-bussinessman. He was said to have been burning old newspapers he found using his cigarette lighter. Why? Nobody knows, or at least, nobody talks about it.

-----------

I'll be out of Bluzone for a while. Server times are too sporadic, and I'm lagging behind the RP so greatly that I'm being redundant.

Kilser was telling me about him. I thought everyone was being a bit over the top, but that post the other day about his 'hillbilly life' made me realize things are a bit odd with him.

Oh well.

there's no 100% backing behind religion OR atheism. neither is sensible to put your belief into, lol.

Its not sensible to believe, and its not sensible to not believe?

Uh. Not sure you uh... what?

2784
I guess I wanted to be in some way irreligious, but I didn't want to upset my parents.

Mmm, my family is still Christian, I am the only atheist.

They were surprised when I said I was an atheist, but that was it. It doesn't really matter, I guess it depends where you live and what your family is like. For some people (especially certain American families) irreligion can be a shocker for some reason. I guess its more culturally intertwined in America.

I believe in a deity but not a specific one, mainly because it sounded like the best way to go. Not to get out of going to Hell or anything like that, but so I could conclude my belief.

Maybe you should look into other religions. Perhaps Christianity isn't the right "perspective" for you on a God.

Some people believe in some kind of creator or power, but have no endorsement into any religion or religious perception. I think that is a little bit of a cheap conclusion, but thats just my take.

So you believe in something because you feel like you have to?

I am reasonably sure that study into religion shows that humanbeings were prone to needing and wanting to believe in religion in the days of early ancestry. Just back then this was channeled through tribes, rituals, and many Godly beliefs.

how do you give evidence that something doesn't exist.
i mean, wouldn't the complete absence of any tangible form be evidence enough.

It isn't as black and white as that, unfortunately. :(

Religion is very old. Its weaved itself around people and it adapts to challenges. Religion is an intricate network of fallacies that is designed to be impossible to prove, but impossible to disprove.

I was raised in a family that was Christian.

It wasn't until 2008 that I started thinking about it. During 2009 I constantly thought about it, and naturally, the argument for a God and religion became more and more bogus the more I considered it.

Late 2009 I considered myself an atheist, but it wasn't easy. I wanted to believe in an afterlife and a God because I am human and I found it safer and more comforting. Admittedly it was hard at first to abandon religious views which were part of my life for so long. Part of me thinks you are similar Aces, in that you'd rather believe it because you want to, not because you actually do.

Now my views are completely clear, I am an atheist and I wouldn't ever look back. In hindsight, religion was always so ridiculous. I guess you don't understand how ridiculous it is until you are external from it.

Aces, I suggest you do what I did and sit on it for a year. Think about it for as long as you need to. Nobody can tell you what to believe except yourself. Think about why you believe what you do, and deconstruct your beliefs to the core.

I'm happy I dropped religion early in my life. Religion used to feel "safe" but it just seems so twisted to me now.

He hasn't started training yet, though.

If he hasn't finished after several years I doubt it'll be complete in the next 37 days.  :cookieMonster:
