OSX isn't anywhere near $1,000

I'll say, Snow Leopard was only like $40 which is cheaper than Windows.

is it fun being a hypocrite?

Cite any time when I've clearly and unambiguously posted a message that suggested the world "revolved around me".

One day you'll just have to accept I'm not this self-important monster you wish I was. Big difference between that and being self-confident.

Until then go forget yourself.

wasn't for me
I tried using steam with it, and it was buggy and slow and the window kept getting stuck outside of the screen and a bushel of other problems
so I stopped using the OS, because steam is rather important

This all depends on what distro you use, what version of WINE you had, what hardware you had, and how much patience you have with tweaking WINE.

XFCE is designed for lower powered computers sure, but I quite like its simplicity. KDE is alright, I prefer the newer versions. The older editions feel a bit tacky to me. Gnome is boring and ugly. Never used Unity but I don't like what I've seen.

Having any fun playing games on Linux? Oh wait.

Blockland plays fine and Slick perfected a way to host dedicated servers using Linux last year when hosting on behalf of me.

Steam runs pretty well. I used to play Gmod in Linux with Wine. PlayOnLinux does a good job if you want a front end.

So incredibly late. I got 3DS Max and Maya about 6 months ago.

Breaking news:  world doesn't revolve around you.

I love Arch and its style but I had trouble installing it on my netbook and gave up.

I'm an OpenSuse fan myself.

IMO the idea of using Linux and the process of installing it is the funnest part. Afterwards you get hit with the reality that you are trying to migrate to a new system, and most people revert back.

I strongly recommend OpenSuse.

Its stable, beautiful, and far more professional as a product than the likes of Ubuntu.

I've posted the password a couple times in the thread I'm always happy when people pop into the server, but I think it's starting to get a bit too well-known.
Changing the password.

Kinda defeats the point of having a password. Most of the time people outside of this topic don't hang around the server long enough.

Wow.

Posting the server password in public when you could have used PM. Nice going!

Looks like a new password is in order.

General Discussion / Re: Any one remember V0002?

Haha you're so funny

Well seriously, do you think that a community of this size would "forget" the original version of the game it was based on, after several years?

It makes no sense. I think you just wanted to do what a lot of misguided people seem to and try to use v0002 as some kind of bragging right.

I use to go to my friends house and play it.

Why are you telling us this its meaningless.

I already have money.

I am only 14 anyway, lol.

What makes that stupid? You think college money isn't generous? Listen to yourself man.

EDIT:  Oh wait I see he worded it with the wrong tense. Still though.
