Unsurprising that I dislike 9 of those people on the list.

The simple truth is running any game on an emulator is never as good as just going entirely native.
Generally, if you have a bug with an application being emulated with Wine, you'll have to report it back to Wine HQ and see if they can fix it. Otherwise its just too bad.

To all it may concern,

TBB apologizes for any mis-information in the latest article and has followed this up with those who contributed to the works. Immediate action is being taken to append all errors entirely out of the authors own will, but also in the best interest of the TBB blog and those affected by the content published.

Is it truly random? Or numbered by order that they are added in?

I'm not sure how it works but basically it remembers the prints in order of numbers. When you add prints, the number that the print you selected moves. I've already tried this before, the basic theory he has is flawed.

Its a good try but it needs more organization, a better story, and improved editing with better software.

I'm pretty sure every Mac comes with Garageband. This is a superb utility for music and voice recording, especially if you want to do a little tweaking with your recording. However this will export to MP3 or ACC. You could use a program like Quicktime (the pro edition) to convert to .WAV, or even a 3rd party program thats really old called QTAmateur which lets you convert sounds and video freely in bulk too.

If that process doesn't float your boat, you could just download Audacity. It can convert file formats
, or you can use it to record and edit new sound and save it to wave. Its free too of course.

This is now going to be my weekend Thing-I'm-Going-To-Do. Though, I thought that Plornt's event did display the print names

Uh, what?

We've already explained setPrints won't let you do this properly. You can get it working for yourself but its guaranteed to screw up on just about everyone elses computer if they don't have similar / no prints.

You need the Ihome package or whatever.

Uh, no. Don't be like that.

I think Macs have come with the iLife package for years now, which includes Garageband. So its fine.

It won't work.

A year or so back I was really into working with fake computers in Blockland (still am hurp). I created a computer that used prints for a more visual experience. But it failed completely. And the reason was because Blockland loads evented prints by a number value, not the actual file name. So the prints would jumble up depending how many other existing prints you have.

Unless the system has changed, the same would happen here. Random prints would appear instead of the image you want.

The top one is better. The video is weaker but the processor makes up for it, and the bottom one's CPU isn't good enough that I would even consider buying it.

Right, I read reviews that the i3 was considerably faster but I'm too scared I'll do something stupid with my purchase and I'm not hugely educated in whats hot and whats not and rely on online benchmark tests which can be slightly confusing. Thats for confirming.

Maybe I'll be able to upgrade the graphics card too...

I'm looking at two budget laptops. Which of these is better, focusing on graphics and CPU?

i3-370m 2.40ghz 3MB L3 Cache
ATI Mobility Radeon HD5470 DDR3 512MB

Intel Pentium P6200 2.13ghz 3MB L3 Cache
Radeon HD 6470M Graphics Seymour XT 1024MB DDR3

I've heard the i3-370m is much better performing than the Pentium, but graphic card comparisons also show the Radeon HD 1GB card provides faster FPS (although not much faster considering its double the memory-- I think its stuffter than the ATI make in general). I'm more inclined to go for the i3 right now, what do you think?

Note:  This is direct comparison of two separate computers based off decent findings I could pull up of laptops that fit my budget. Please do not suggest a desktop which is grossly unsuitable for my needs, nor bitch about how these setups are no match to your 3.0ghz gaming rigs with Nvida cards. Any jokes related to this note as a result of the message will make you look like a douche. :U
