Not exactly sure what Isar has to do with anything either, my building skill is irrelevant as I am not the one who is in the video. ;)

I can build much better than what I did there. Jumping to conclusions really isnt the way to go. Trust me, better things are coming.

Quoting what I already read won't help. There isn't any conclusion jumping, I looked at the end of the video and questioned whether it was merit for a 3 minute video.

Basic = crap

I'm sorry but as far as I'm concerned if you can't build fantastically, don't bother filming it. Big mistake launching a series featuring content that has no wow factor.

Quit being lazy and wait for it to calculate.  :cookieMonster:

The name you use when starting AfterBlock and are prompted for details should match that of your ingame username, I think he was saying... but that doesn't really make sense as far as causing an error goes.

Suggestions & Requests / Re: Request: Death Mod
« on: February 19, 2011, 06:01:18 PM »
this sounds cool, but basically unless they turned the mod off, wouldn't you like, never be able to play on the server again really?

Depends what time you set the death to. Its this knowledge that makes death more "real" in-game, and a more serious matter.

sounds like part of TDM cut out and modded.

Really? I haven't been able to get anything like this to work in TDM...

Your argument is invalid.

There was no argument. Stop causing fights.

Suggestions & Requests / Request: Death Mod
« on: February 19, 2011, 05:34:17 PM »
I have a request. On one of my servers death is something that people are taking too lightly. I need to emphasize that when someone dies, they are dead. No magic respawn. I would like a mod  that notes down users who die (to a text file perhaps) and for a certain amount of time stops them from respawning.

  • Death would show text on the screen explaining how they will not be alive for the amount of time in a bottom print
  • Users who die would become "ghosts" who can only move around the server as if they were using F8 (minus the orb)
  • Users could only talk to other "ghosts" in a team-like chat
  • Users would re-ghost if they disconnected and reconnected
  • This could be toggled in a GUI, and the time and death message could be changed by host

This has uses for RPs (a player dies, they are permanently gone, making random killings less prominent) and could be good just in general servers if you want the feature there.
