Why not?

There is no compiler for the platform. Blockland itself does not support Linux, why on earth would AB? There are very few people who even play Blockland under Linux, so there is no demand for it. Finally because of so many variations and distributions, if I did make a Linux port its not possible for me to make it compatible with Linux in general, but only a specific system.

Lol Icy, you crazy ;)

I don't buy online much. I have my email, but if my email account gets deleted or I forget the password then what? So I keep the receipt as proof of purchase. And of course the key so I can access it offline. :3

I'll be extra antagonistic just to please you.

Then I won't be updating until it's enabled again. It's working fine for me now with 1.1, so I have no reason to update.

1.2 changes the way directories are read which is vital, so if you don't update you are using a less efficient buggier version that is more likely to run into problems. Assuming you haven't experienced the file directory error (which doesn't report as a bug in AfterBlock when you use it) you won't lose your settings. All you need to do is replace the .EXE.

Updater should be disabled. Don't use it.

When I bought BL, I kept receipts, wrote down my key, wrote down what email I used to register, and kept a copy of Blockland v8 on a disc all encrypted and hide it in a stash of other CDs, just in case. :3

You should at least know the email.

That's not why.
It's because you said you'd rather eat dog stuff than switch to a different OS.

OR he would rather not let one problem with one program make him ditch his entire operating system. Just because you prefer Windows doesn't mean everyone else has to.

I never re-uploaded it

Well whatever you did it forgeted it up. Because it doesn't work. The new link of 1.1 update is broken. My upload of 1.2 update is broken. Its broken.

I feel like this community has made me think that everyone wants to tell anyone who is discussing their own problems that they're being attention whores.

Visit a few drama topics. People always conclude its ego related, attention whoring, or troll based. And thats because many don't understand any other way to handle drama, so they just bandwagon to feel smart. PROVE MEH WRONG.

The battery was also terrible for no reason.

Clamshell batteries won't have much life in them anymore, I still have an Indigo one and its battery is messed up. But its now over a decade old. Also, I can think of another reason the computer had troubles...

he dropped it down the stairs a few times
