Question is how... I could try to see if Wallet's got one to spare, but other than that I'll have to google it.

Sounds simple to me. As an author its your job to find information. News won't come to you.

I can't find a pic to put on the article :(

Then get your ass out there and take a photo / dig deep to find one.

This is a new version that requires manual reinstall, if your previous version was screwed up delete it and put Afterblock 1.2 in a fresh new folder.

If your permissions are screwed or you are crapping up your folders, its not mah problem.

Its been disproved.

They are unsure of the dates now, it is not in sync with our time and is off by so many years. According to the calendar, that time could have been or won't occur for many years still. We don't know anymore.

General Discussion / Re: What is your (realistic) dream server?
« on: February 10, 2011, 02:56:29 AM »
A large city RP with a controlled established government slipstreamed with strong RP elements and broken up into small districts to reduce lag. A strong level-headed admin force would run in the background as part of the government, free from corruption entirely. The city would be utilized for "real events" such as parades and whatnot. Users could create and sell property including apartments and crap. There would be a stock market.

Other players would host similar servers of their own cities, and on the forums people would start topics for their cities competing for tourism, hosting events (Blockoolympics, etc) and doing business deals.

Feel free to send in your "Authors@TBB" snippet when you are ready.

WINE is really shoddy, I don't recommend it. If you want to use AB on Mac, the best thing to do is wait. Nothing but the official Mac port will be any good.

Update 1.2 is out, fixing the error (PL0X).

You can not use the auto-updater, due to the fact this update requires a manual install after the file directory errors may cause the updater to be confused. Aside from that, BuB seems to have forgeted up their hosting.

General Discussion / Re: What is the point of clans?
« on: February 09, 2011, 09:36:32 PM »
So, me and my friends just do stuff, who cares about having a clan. We want to build together with 5 people, we build together with 5 people. ;)

Some people like to be part of a group with a topic because it feels more official. Being part of and representing a clan is half the fun.

A Blockland clan provides a way for users to host private or public higher quality servers in which groups of players collaboratively build on or help manage, creating an environment where there is a higher level of trust, teamwork, and friendliness.

Come on, get to work on the Mac version. As long as it starts up, I'm happy.

I am not porting it until the Windows edition is stable. Otherwise I'll have to fix bugs for two separate projects.

I would probably only download it for the last four features lol. (obviously the last one - I want updates without having to redownload)

There is an autoupdate app. You click it and it patches your install.

Also, Freeze has tested and it seems (as he said above) the external define error is fixed. I'll update it later.
