Mini-empires don't work from a roleplay perspective.

There are no guidelines to how war could work. No limitations. No turn based structure. Everyone just claims to have the best technology no matter how ridiculous.

I liked Shinji's old mini-empires because it was politically focused. We each made a country, formed alliances, and there was a building where each nation would come together to debate and pass motions. Any war on his server was passive, in that it wouldn't be "my ship blowz urs up" but rather, war and fighting would be implied by players occupying space with ships and whatnot. Moves would be mediated by other countries; for example,  if a small island nation tried to take over a big country, other players at the mini-empire would object to it because logically it makes no sense.

Recreating the environment at Shinji's is unlikely because it happened by chance, it was luck that the right people showed up.

What happened to this?

As has been discussed in the posts above you, there was to be no October episode. LNBS episodes  typically come out towards the end of the month.

I use YouTube, Skype, etc all the time. I browse the Internet and play games for many hours a day and I download big updates on Steam and whatnot often. Along with the 4 other people in my family, who use the Internet considerably less, we get through 20 - 30GB a month.

If there were 5 of me cloned, we'd use 150GB at most each month.

Something is extremely wrong. I also recommend you switch your passwords and network name, including admin access to your routers.

Consider using a free Internet monitoring tool like NetWorx on each of your computers to see the exact upload and download traffic in your house, and who is doing what. Factor in any smartphone, tablet, or smart TV usage.

Hey cool, another compaq owner!

Imo Compaq is one of the best computer brands. They always have a range of models so they are good for any budget, and the hardware to price ratio is easily found.

My first new computer was a Compaq Presario M2000 and man, I loved it. Played LAN games all the time, major nostalgia with that model. But sadly it started melting charger heads after I dropped it and the pin bent. :S

I currently own a Compaq Presario CQ62 (357TX model). I bought it in 2011, it was a late 2010 model. Has Intel i3-370M 2.40GHz and a 512MB dedicated Radeon HD Mobility 5470 in it and I pushed its RAM up to 4GB. Pretty swell for playing Steam games, even Garrys Mod does alright. I managed to play GTA IV on it too, at low res and 20 - 28 FPS or so. It plays Blockland really well, but stuffs out on shaders above low setting with high brick count.

Gonna sell it now, I don't want to though. :c  Gonna raise money for a gaming mini-itx, just need the CPU and RAM and I can build it. :D

I highly recommend Compaq as a brand.

You are allowed to download the Windows 7 install legally for free from the Microsoft website. You just need a legal activation code. Just sayin' in case.

Unfortunately plebs think that building a computer is unsafe and you'll not be able to do it.

Thats the price you pay for being funded by technology handicapped people. :c

A bizarrely tasteful move by a channel that has been pumping out stuff since 2005 and surely before.

I really loathe the pseudo-sitcom shows they make for kids and young teens, always with terrible canned laughter and awkward hammy acting.

I only watch that channel these days when they show some of those early 2000s and 90's cartoons at night. Proper animation, none of that cheap looking 3D crap some of these cartoons have now.

I think they should re-run some of the older cartoons on channels like this in mainstream hours, it'd be neat. They are just as good as they were then.
