I'd probably be alone.  :cookieMonster:
My aim is bad enough as it as, and I use the shotgun a lot in Blockland. More people would die from friendly fire than the zombies themselves.

Drama / Re: Locking your topics because people are being mean to you

I'm not sure sure about here, but I have seen on other forums people locking their topics when people start to disagree with them or a debate gets heated. I think once you open a discussion, unless there is any justified reason, you don't really have the right to stop it from continuing just because you don't want to be a part of it anymore. You made the post, take the responsibility for it.

There are some idiots around Blockland servers. Although, thats the way it'll be anywhere. You have to understand that, especially on the Internet, there will always be a douchebag. If you want to lower the amount of hatred, don't go cooking up a message like the OP.

Just host a decent server, use your best judgement, and make your little slice of Blockland what you want it to be. Then avoid any other places you think will irritate you. Thats really all you can do.

Drama / Re: How immature ROBLOX is. . .

Wait... why is there a topic mocking Roblox? If you don't like the game sure, but this seems extremely unnecessary.
I think the saddest thing is that someone felt the need to post this. Not sure what its achieving. Although, theres a lot of this in the Drama forum from what I've seen.  :cookieMonster:

The firemod. Or whatever it was called. It lit stuff on fire. after a time, it killed the brick. and adjacent bricks were also killed. there was also a fire hose. I miss it so much.

:O

Neat!

This is awesome! Although, I am not fond of how your authors are using it as a way to publicize their drama encounters.

"Chris Ridiculous - Build Stealer!"

"Badmin - Rian168"

I don't wanna hear about that. Thats not news.  :cookieMonster:

Love the Turret and Aperture Science ones. I own an iPod Touch 3G though, not an iPhone. ;_;

Drama / Re: People with numbers in their name are generally less mature.
« on: August 15, 2010, 03:09:29 AM »
I don't agree with this entirely, although I know what you are getting at.
Its quite possible its just an age thing. Younger people are more likely to be new to the Internet these days, and probably use a name with numbers just because its so common to have a number based nickname online. And of course a new Internet user (and one thats new to Blockland) will probably not be familiar with Blocklands general etiquette, or even that of the online world.

This is just one theory, you could explain it in many ways. Or maybe its just people with numbers in their names are assumed to be less intelligent because of this generalization. You have to admit, when you see someone with mario or halo in their name you automatically assume they are going to be really immature. And some of us won't let them prove otherwise.

Well it is your work. I don't really understand why you have to give your engine to them, but you could just lie and say you improved it after you sent it to them, if they start emailing you after you release your mod. I don't think you really need to care about karma or ethical responsibility-- people always play a little dirty like this, especially online.
