Eternal unconsciousness is the closest brown townogy we have, I like how watching anime furthers my understanding of English grammatical concepts and figurative language. Maybe I can recommend a couple, I think I know a few sites that have English dubs/subs I can link you.

Life is precious, after death is nothing, pitch black, unconsciousness. You're no longer a part of the universe, you're nothing, you never will be anything again, your life is over and only what you've left behind survives. You'll never laugh, smile, or greet a friend again. Just nothingness, the human experience is gone, and you'll never love, care, or comfort somebody ever again.
How is jail worse than that?
