Modification Help / Hallowing out a Barrel

I need some help with Blender. Ive been told to hallow out the berrels. I was wondering how you do this? I havent had very much luck, So if anyone could tell me how to do it on an 8 sided Cylinder that would be great

Modification Help / Pink line while extruding

In blender whenever i extrude there is a pink line. i want to make it so that i can move the pinkline so either getting rid of it, or moving it in the way i want it to go. can anyone help me?

Suggestions & Requests / Joining Minigame

Somone should make an addon were when you click on something, Or touch something it puts you into a minigame. This would make it so that someone doesnt have to host the minigame. They set it up in the minigame menu and save it as one of your faves. In the events menu when you do something like Onactivate>Minigame>JoinMinigame>set1. THe set would be the saved slot that you are selecting, Like set 1 set 2 set 3. You could also do onplayertouch or leave minigame. Players would be able to walk into something like an airsoft or paintball place that the creator build and then automatically join the minigame with his preffs. Overall making it so you can host a minigame without actually participating. You can monitor it and make sure no ones cheating and play if you want to

Modification Help / Clearing up my original posts/Blender Help

I have posted my guns and that i have been making a lot recently... But now i just want to clear everything up with a couple of questions
I dont have use of blockland right now because i dont have my own computer.. but:
-How are the models supposed to be made? can there be curves? strait slants? or just blocky.
-i heard something about barels, What should my barels look like?
-Any other tips for helping me in this program

I also want to know if i can turn this into an addon from there or if i have to import it into something like blender... or re create it in blender...

Whenever i go into blender and im trying to extrude a region a pink line shows up. I know there is a way to get rid of that line but i dont know how. Can somone tell me how. I saw it in a tutorial but he didnt explain it at all.. it would help me so much!

I just got Blender and I'm trying to learn how to model. Ive been searching youtube for videos and Ive looked at the main website.. I know nothing about the program. If anyone could link a place were i can learn the absolute basics on modeling and stuff like that that would be great.
If someone posts a link before you still post yours so i have more than one reference to look at.

Edit: I want to know how to take a pic of a weapon and then cover it and make it a model ive seen videos of this on youtube but not detailed instructions.
