Wow, damn. And at times I feel like 2.5 mb/s is slow.
Hope you get some better internet some day, man.
I've learned to live with it, however when my sister's iTouch comes it the speed bounces down a hill to 2kb/s.
And I will when I can afford an apartment.

The bacon wrapped scallops I usually get is like eating rubber coated with salt.
Buy "fresh" scallops.
Buy fresh bacon.
fry bacon, then scallops in fat, and wrap, then place in oven at low temperature.

c:

Don't buy them premade.

...How does an ad slow down your internet that much? That doesn't make any sense.
Aren't most ads images and flash files? It should only have to download the image/flash, and the it would stop using your internet.
My internet is as slow as forget already, it peaks at an average of 15kb/s. Sometimes I get "lucky" and get a peak at 22kb/s, but extremely rarely.
That's what I get for living in the beautiful forest.

Get Adblock. Also try restarting Chrome/see if anyone else is download something. Oh yeah, and how big was the file?
1mb.

I just closed the ad, and it fixed. I'm just sick of this happening and getting yelled at by my mom for yelling at my sister.

Once again I was subject to a mystical add that popped up without noticed, and I was trying to download something that would take about a minute, and Chrome said 6 hours left. In a panic, I turned off the Xbox, thinking it absorbed more internet than I thought sitting at a menu screen. The speed still stuck at 50 b/s. I slide up the taskbar to see whats running, just fraps, chrome, and some goddamn french ad promoting something that translated to literature help or something.

God damnit.

I was never into classic rock, until recently when my mom cranked the radio on our CR station. She told me a bunch of memories she had, and I just focused on the music. I can describe it in 1 word.

Heartwarming.

Today's music is just:
"blahblah mcblah love blah"
Music as old as your dad is like having jesus forget you. It's awesome. It just has feeling to it and strikes you somewhere and tickles you happily. Today it is some woman dressed in t-bone steaks singing about being forgeted. Catchy, but it has no feeling in it.

Agree?

Games / Re: GRID
« on: March 08, 2011, 08:44:14 PM »
I have GRID.
However, I have no idea what you have it for, so I can't help you.

To help those who don't have it:

Race Driver: GRID was developed and published by Codemasters, the creators of the TOCA/Race Driver series. It is a game in which the player runs their own race team, acting as the primary driver. As players progress they gain sponsors and can hire a teammate to drive alongside them in certain events.
The game begins with the player accepting jobs to drive for other teams to earn money, and once the player gains enough capital they can purchase their own vehicles and drive independently, as well as continuing to drive for other teams should they choose to. GRID features a unique gameplay mechanic known as Flashback which allows the player to rewind gameplay by up to ten seconds and resume from their chosen point. This is a limited-use feature, determined by the difficulty setting.
Race Driver: GRID features several modes of competition using various cars. Three main regions are found in the game, United States, Europe, and Japan, each with their own championship. Each of the game's 43 cars are tied to one of these three regions. GRID also features several types of events to compete in, including GT championships, drifting, touge, open wheel racing, and demolition derby, as well as variants on several of these motorsports. Players can also participate in the 24 Hours of Le Mans at the end of each racing season.
Courses in the game are a mixture of real world and fictional circuits and point-to-point tracks. Real road courses such as Le Mans and Spa Francorchamps are included, while some defunct street circuits such as the Detroit street circuit in Michigan and the Washington D.C. street circuit are also included. There are also several fictional tracks inspired by real-world locations and circuits, such as street courses in San Francisco, California and Milan, Italy as well as Mount Haruna.
