Essentially, it's a mod that helps add a little bit of extra functionality to City themed builds.
When you join the server, you are given an initial pool of points. You can use these points to purchase bricks, such as lots and what have you. They're also used to purchase bricks, vehicles, and special items to help out in the process.
The way to accumulate points would be to stay in the server, gaining points on a fixed interval (For this example, lets say, 30 seconds.). There will be no jobs, but "levels" based loosely on how much you have contributed to the server. Raising this level causes you to earn more points every 30 seconds. Raising the level will also increase your maximum brickcount as well.
Raising the level could range from all sorts of activites, such as:
- Placing 500 bricks.
- Placing 5000 bricks.
- Helping a friend.
- Giving to the public.
- Buying a vehicle.
- Buying an item.
- Helping a lot of friends!
Placing bricks is self explainitory. Helping friends would be a user building over someone elses baseplate/bricks. Both builders get the reward.
Completing these simple tasks do not give point bonuses. They only increase level.
Levels loosely follow this structure. (Points increase are for example only.)
- Level 1: Brickcount - 750 , Points Per Interval - 50
- Level 2: Brickcount - 1250 , Points Per Interval - 100
- Level 3: Brickcount - 2500 , Points Per Interval - 300
- Level 4: Brickcount - 5000 , Points Per Interval - 750
- Level 5: Brickcount - 7500 , Points Per Interval - 1000
- Level 6: Brickcount - 10,000 , Points Per Interval - 1200
- Level 7: Brickcount - 15,000 , Points Per Interval - 1350
- Level 8: Brickcount - 20,000 , Points Per Interval - 1500
- ]Level 9: Brickcount - 22,500 , Points Per Interval - 1625
- Level 10: Brickcount - 25,000 , Points Per Interval - 1750
The only reason I stated points are relative at this point, is because idk the point cost for that one addon that charges points per brick.
As you gain levels, points per level start to decrease in increments, as by that point, you'll probably not need more than what is given, especially if you're a slow builder. However, you can give these points to others as well, completing another task as well as boosting your level progress a bit.
The point of the mod would be to entice players to work together and be friendly, while also facilitating the want for some players to roleplay if they so choose. There won't be inherit chaos because there isn't a criminal system in place. (Unless players choose to roleplay that way.)
And if you want to build something big and luxiourious for others to gawk at, you have to help out fellow players as well to get there.
It would be nice to give admins a few special commands as well, to reward good behaviour with more points, and potentially more levels.
