Ah, wait, I remember looking at Blue's equipment a bit ago, and my housemate informed me that one of our buddies had bought something of theirs on recommendation and it ended up being crap. I'll keep them in mind until I can hit up that fella and get any actual confirmation on that, though. Neither of these gentlemen are particularly well known for their reliability.
I also own a Blue Snowball, and it's pretty nice with voice quality. While it's certainly not close to studio levels of clearness, the only way to have your recordings sound like stuff is if they have to process through a dial up connection first.
The microphone itself is very large however, and with it's 360 degree pickup range, it seems like it's a bit sensitive, especially in my noisy household.
Also the cable is really long and bulky so it doesn't tangle.
