yeah, it's not like that's the entire joke, or anything
He's converting it to USD and the resulting price in these areas is around the name as what US citizens pay
It doesn't matter.
I'm not saying it to be mean or judgemental or anything. I'm saying it because it's true. An employer doesn't want to hire someone who gets D's when they could hire someone who gets A's. Even if there's a well-paying field where employers don't care about your grades, settling for mediocrity and not even attemping for average isn't a good habit to get into and will forget him over if he does it in any field
Because I've never lived anywhere else.
Actually the utilities are pretty close for a 4 person household which is what I believe you're in
But we're discussing living on his own
I wasn't disagreeing
This isn't even relevant because prices are just as high everywhere else
Explain to me how the hell inflation has anything to do with what we're discussing.
There's been inflation here since I was born. It was 1-2500 in 2001, 1-3 in 2007, 1-5 in 2012 and now it's 1-12.
Assuming you aren't trying to start stuff with me, what does that have to do with anything?
My apartment is $800 USD per month, I've spent 150 USD on the electric bill last month (9KW), 53 USD on th.e water bill and 2,3 USD on the natural gas bill. And ~500 USD on groceries for a family of 5.
What a wonderful habit to start. You'll do wonderful in college!
