Well sure but there is a limit. Massive cubes that are... what, almost as big as the player? That just isn't cutting it for me.I agree very much with your point on the whole "no real innovative additions" and that the developers have added so many stuff features that nobody will find an use for. When the game was in alpha and there were no "snow golems" and other stupid ass gulums that will just be a waste of your time the game was actually good. The devs had a lot of new and usable features to add in the game. Then it went beta and they started adding capes and stuff and golems, iron pots, potion system which was a piece of useless stuff. I don't find any real enjoyment from this game anymore. The multiplayer at least has some fun to it when you are communicating with actual people and not just some blocky villagers who just go "gimme tree fiddy emeralds and you get a block of wood".
I mean, if you enjoy it, great. I just don't get it.
Starbound =/= TerrariaStarbound has some of the same devs on it.

they get a bit more actiony in the two-part episodes (and a couple of the single episodes), and yes i believe that we're talking about the same episode

if i'm reading you correctly, perhaps that is something related to the last episode. there is a bit of fighting and invasionThis kind of here fails your animal crossing example. I'm talking about that 2 part episode that was advertised for long and everyone was flipping stuff apparently and waiting it to come out.
i would think that is expected out of televised cartoons (or most shows) these days, to the point where the viewer doesn't have to think about itProbably the reason why i never take cartoons as maturely as English speaking countries is because all cartoons that come from the TV are dubbed in Finnish and one thing you should know about this country is that our voice actors suck more balls than than Mr.Bucket pops them out in a day.
Only real examples i got from the part "Plot" was on the episode where Twilight gets 2 tickets for the parade or whatever and she has to decide who does she want to give the other one to. What really disappoints me in this episode was the way how it ended. If Celestia was able to give tickets to all of Twilight's friends, why would she only give her 2 in the first place? Just dun make any sense.
oh, here's an idea. if you've ever played Animal Crossing, you would know it's a very chill and relaxing video game. no fighting, just bug catching and simple life pleasures.Are there not multiple episodes out there where they have war and stuff? Like that series of episodes where a bunch of disguising spycrabs ruin some parade and so on.
i think that would be the equivalent in game terms.

yes and they weren't anything cool because minecraft has horrible combatI like how blocking with swords was added almost an year ago and they still haven't done anything with it. Some zombie/other mob attack animations would be nice to change the horrible combat from "Punch punch punch until its dead" to "Swing! Block! maneuver! swing swing! Power attack! CRITICAL HIT!"
