It's funny how their keynote for the 4S/OS5 mocked people stealing their ideas, and they proceed to announce their "new things" that were stolen from android.  If you're going to be snooty, don't be a hypocrite.

If it had an onboard graphics unit not in use, switch to that and take out your GPU, and unplug an CD or hard drives not needed for boot/scan

Try restarting with it connected, or update/reinstall itunes.  You won't be able to see the music files in windows exploder.

It's your internet connection.  If you have like a T1 line, your uploads would take like a few minutes.

Yeah, recording puts on a layer of nervousness much like performing does because you just wanna get it right.  Good luck, and practice tons, you can only get better!

You could go to Music and Arts and pick up at $10-20 metronome/tuner.  It never hurts to have one of those.

If you're using something like audacity, you can create a track, turn on your keyboard's metronome, and let that go for a while, so you'll have seperate click track that you can delete after you get the part down.

Also, it helps to practice it to the point where you can do it without thinking, and try performing it for like family members and friends and stuff, it helps take the edge off recording.  Do you use a metronome?  Do you think it would help?

Yeah, I record bands in my free time, and I've noticed that the drummers have a harder time keeping time when the tape is rolling (so to speak).  What I would do, is just set it up, and let the recorder roll as you try to play it a few times.  After a while, you'll forget that you're recording and you'll do it perfect.  Then you just edit out everything else, and you're good.

I found out about this band while listening to Bassnectar's 2010 IDJ Mixtape. I've been in love with them ever since.  They just released a new EP and are releasing an album next year. :D

It's nothing to do with Android, it's whoever puts money in the Manufacturer's and Carrier's pockets that causes it to be there.
