2: Right-click the new shortcut and go to properties
3: Go to the "Target" field and add a space and then addCode: [Select]-dedicatedto the very end of the existing text.
4: Use the new shortcut to start a dedicated server

Gurgle, have you tried just letting Blockland sit for a few minutes? It usually hangs at startup while it is executing client-sided scripts and such, so if you have a particularly slow computer it may take up to a few minutes to start Blockland.

Since the bug thread is locked, I guess I need to post this here.
There is a problem with lighting bricks that are not completely within your visibleDistance, I took a few screenshots.
With the visible distance set to 10, the baseplates on the floor and ceiling appear completely black even though they are not.
With the visible distance set higher (100 or so), the baseplates' color returns to them.
I hope Badspot can look into this sometime.
