Milkshape's only stuff if you can't use it, Blender's gay and overcomplex, if I wanted a million buttons and a rendering engine I'd go for Maya or 3DS Max.

The first-person perspective makes them look shorter than they really are.

Also, I've been waiting for a good time to post pictures of the growing heap of unused models cluttering my Blockland folder.

Such as the following:


They both have Firing/Reloading/Readying animations, as do most of the weapons in the folder.

That looks like  7 weapons put into one.
I definetly see some AK-47 in dere.
It's the Galil below, without the super long barrel, better ironsights, a drum magazine, a skeleton stock, a roostering handle and better bevelling.

It has six joints, quite a few for a weapon but hey, it's got a bunch of animations. Oh, and it's not alone either, it has sixteen buddy weapons all nestled in a folder and neglected.

It's the LoD, if your groups have numbers after them, like box01, the exporter will recognise this as a LoD and make strange things happen. If you remove these numbers or put 0 after each one, the display issues should be fixed.

The claymore itself is just a payload, you can add whatever the hell detonation method you like whether it be IR lasers, tripwire, pressure plate or whatever.

Try importing it to Milkshape then export it as a .dif. Milkshape is good for that sort of thing, and btw if it does work dont be surprised if your model is really small or really big because it can vary a lot between porgrams.
Milkshape can't export to .dif.

You probably shouldn't have to do anything more than use map2dif if you're exporting to .map, are you using the version of hammer that comes with the source SDK? You shouldn't, the old, original Half-Life version of Hammer is the one you want.
