Meekl you handicap, if you knew anything about firearms and had eyes, you'd see that they're vastly different. That heap of clanking metal on the back of the Luger is a pretty obsolete pressure-reliant mechanism, and I'm afraid I don't see it on the other weapon.

I'm thinking more along the lines of a shape made of a couple of planes or a low-poly cylinder, if the texture repeated infinitely, it wouldn't matter how long the chain was, although exploding into debris might be a problem.
