Well traceroutes can pinpoint street addresses. If you're fine with that, by all means do what you want. It may not be your own address but it's still too much information IMO

I'm assuming that's where the proxy is, if you did an IP lookup to trace the server node. On the other hand, did anyone miss the part where I said it's a PROXY? Who would be stupid enough to put their real IP on a site like this?

I didn't get banned, dipstuff. It's an ISP proxy that is for some reason routing Chrome traffic by default, and it's not a setting I can modify via the Chrome GUI. It happens on other sites too. Like I said I could look into it (DNS settings and such) but this fail browser isn't worth my time. Also it seems like half of you failed to grasp that this thread has forget all to do with 4chan, it's just a rant about this half-assed browser implementation. If you don't care, gtfo. Btw /b/ is lame and hating on 4chan just because everyone else is doing it makes you seem like an even bigger dumbass. If you have a valid reason for disliking it fine, otherwise I'll just take it as a stuffty excuse to flame me in this thread because you're too clever to come up with anything else

Hi, this thread is bitching about Chrome. Frankly I don't give a damn what you think about 4chan or anything else, so if you aren't gonna be hating on Chrome, forget off.
hes prob not even telling the truth, he pry used a proxy and got himself banned on 4chan being a handicap.
and like a kid, he thinks 4chan is cool, so being banned from it must make him a badass.
and hes trying to impress us with his intentional proxy ban
Well if you would learn to read and/or give a stuff, you would notice that the site itself can't give an explanation for why I'm banned. I'm assuming Chrome uses a high traffic proxy by default, and like I said I don't care about setting it up. Just one more reason to drop this piece of stuff
